I can't get the media player on my 900M to work this morning. All I'm getting is a constant "Error M03: There is a problem with the server. Please try again later." Anyone else having the same problem??

I updated my Vision profile, now the f'ing media player won't even start up -- I get "Connection failed. please try later." It just times out while trying to connect. -- Follow-up: I turned off/on my phone and now I'm getting the M03 error again.

Mine's not working either. I also noticed that, around noon, my Powervision wasn't working either. It's using the old Vision data sessions. I'll be calling after I get out of work to see what the problem is.
Is your EVDO working?

MIne is not working since this morning error m03 I'm sick and tired we pay and get nothing when Sprint is gonna fix this, hope it works later on, I'm gonna call tech. support see what they said, I'll be back here later on :frustrate :frustrate :frustrate

I just called the EVDO support # (866-818-1944) and a rep did two things, neither of which worked. He tried a third fix, sent to the phone, which he said would take about 15-20 minutes to go through. I'm waiting to see if it works. One of the things we tried was to restore the network settings on the phone via the ##3282# menu. In doing so I also got the MSL # for my phone. The rep said he's helped some other folks today with the same problem. He said that the fix he sent to my phone worked on someone else's earlier today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We realized the error is not network-related, but media player-related. If it were actually a network error I wouldn't be even able to get online at all.

Mine is out now too with Error M03. Don't know how long it has been that way.

I think this has to do with server overload, so some may get in and others won't. I've seen it before on Friday & Saturday afternoons.

...We realized the error is not network-related, but media player-related. If it were actually a network error I wouldn't be even able to get online at all.I disagree (and I have little confidence in Sprint CS/TS). The gateway for Mediaplayer channels is different than that for surfing the net with PV.

I still have nothing and I'm in the line with tech support waiting for them to answer is been already 15 mins., I'm with the tech and she's reboot the server or whatever so let's what happend and she got calls since this morning with the same thing, she said problems they have is trying to combine everything together, SPRINT, NEXTEL in one big acc. like all the servers, networks , accs. etc.. cause NEXTEL works in a different frequency than SPRINT , and she said should be ready by the end of july, I can't stand that long with this types of problems but she said we shouldn't have problems but we still get the problems so I have no idea :frustrate

Well finally she finish the update and didn't have to do nothing in my phone just wait when she said it was completed , all I did was turn off the phone, remove the battery we wait 30 secs. and try the web first and then the media player and so far is working and hope it continues like that , just saying in case someone want to call , this is the number I call: 877-626-1441 :tu:

I just got off the phone with Tech Support and she didn't have a clue. Said there was no listing of tickets for Error 03 or mediaplayer problems. They seldom acknowledge system wide problems though. She had me remove the battery, update my profile, do a ##data# Restore. Each time she would have me go to the Internet, then to the mediaplayer. Nothing worked so she submitted a ticket.

Everyone experienceing the problem should report it to Tech Support so they at least realize there is a problem.

I have been experiencing the same exact problem all day long. My EV-DO works just fine, but my Media Player for viewing Sprint TV is another story.

Here goes my little rant...I've been patiently waiting for these "new channels" that I am supposed to be receiving as a data pack subscriber (Ex: CNN / Weather Channel) and so far nothing is there and then on top of that my media player has server issues preventing me from using what I have (the only thing worth while is Sprint Radio & ABC News Now & Sprint Power View). To be honest, I'm really getting tired of their "technical difficulties." I realize that technology is not perfect and there is always bound to be some downtime, but this is getting to be absurd. If Sprint planned to change their tv programming, they should have added the new content and then slowly phased out the old content without setting a deadline that would be impossible for them to meet. Honestly, I don't know how Sprint can run a business and maintain customers when stuff like this goes down. I really hope Sprint gets their act together and begins to restore the quality they used to offer. Please don't get me wrong, I really like being a Sprint customer, but sometimes, stuff likes this makes the grass greener on the other side of the fence.

I wonder how the next quarterly reports will look?!?

Here's a link to the new Sprint TV Enhanced app. Explains why I have it but other's don't. My guess is it will slowly roll out to everyone else as they make it available for different phones

I just went through the exact same sequence in my second round with the EVDO tech support folks, having spent an hour and a half. We pulled the battery, reset the phone to factory defaults, did the ##3268# Restore, no fix. Then she had me change the IP address my phone accesses the web with, no fix. She put in a ticket and is going to call me back tomorrow at the start of her shift. I'll give her credit for working hard to find a fix for me.

Wow...I thought this would be a short lived problem, but now I am sitting here on Day 2 without any ability to access the tv content through the media player. I continue to get a server error.

It may be beneficial for those of us experiencing the Error M03 problem to post it to this thread (http://forums.buzzaboutwireless.com/baw/board/message?board.id=ServicesandDigitalMedia&message.id=588) at buzzaboutwireless.com as well as in this SU thread. Since buzzaboutwireless.com is Sprint's forum and advertised to all new customers, they are likely to see the problems sooner and realize our frustration.:irked:

Just remember, constructive comments get more attention than snide ones.

Power Vision users can access the Channel Listing again.

Wouldn't it be nice if Sprint had the ability to post such problems to a service board, which could be immediately accessed by Sprint Tech support reps, so time would not be wasted by customers and Tech Support reps wandering up blind alleys again and again. If it was not accessible to customers, at least it should be accessible to Sprint Customer Service and Tech Support reps.:bang:

Yeah, but is your CNN working? For the past 36 hours, when I click to load CNN, it buffers and then I get the following screen: "Temporarily Unavailable. Servers are temporarily down for maintenance. We'll be back online shortly."

I guess "shortly" means at least 2 days... :eyebrow:

My channel listing is working again, too; but no CNN yet. Someone on buzzaboutwireless.com posted that the problem was fixed by Sprint.

They fix my channels last friday around 9pm when I call the lady was nice and she did it quick thank god, but CNN still down since that time and I got the same message that someone post here, temporarily unavailable who know till when, I'm telling you they shouldn't do nothing @ all and we all still be happy but since April 1st just to get what CNN I wouldn't care about that channel or whatever they want to add.

If it's not one thing, it's another. Now I can't get the channel listing to appear at all. It just times out "Connection failed, please try later." I see the Power Vision indicators work for about a second after I start the media player, then it goes idle and just times out. This is BS.
