Sprint Powerview Survey text message

Last night I was awokened at 11:30 p.m. by my phone alerting me to a new text message. My thought was "What idiot is sending me a text message this late?!". Well the idiot was Sprint.

This text message was a request to go and participate in a survey about Powerview at www.sprintpowerviewsurvey.com

I did not visit the link or attempt to last night.

This morning at 4:50 a.m. I went into my phone's inbox and found the message and used my phone to try to go to that link. Didn't work on my wap browser. So I fired up the computer and visited the link. There I get the following message:

'Survey is now closed to new responses.'

What?!

I hope they REALLY got an earfull when it WAS open to responses!

Did anyone here on the forums get this text message and more importantly was anyone able to complete the survey?

Yah, I did get the same message yesterday night about midnight when I got home from work. Tried the link on my Mac and got same message:

'Survey is now closed to new responses.'

I didn't care if I get entered for the $1000 price all I need is to voice out my opinion. :irked:

That is just piss poor on sprints part.

Why the hell bother me with a text message with a link that doesn't work, send me to the web, and then slap me in the face "you wasted your time"

A year or so ago I received several notifications that my picture mail account was about to expire. I had not been a subscriber to a Vision pack in over 14 months at the time and was irritated to be receiving these notifications.

Relating to your post, they didn't come during the day either...They came at all hours of the night from 1 AM - 5 AM and needless to say I called Sprint numerous times. Everytime I called I got an appology as it was likely due to a system error and then the next night or so the same thing happened. After about a week straight, I called Sprint and went up the chain to techs and supervisors to get the problem solved. I don't know what the fix was, but it certainly took care of the issue.
