I can check my .Mac email just fine, but whenever I try to send/reply I get an error that says, "The server did not recognize your username and/or password. Please check and try again." Obviously I've checked my UN and PW. Plus, I get all my incoming email just fine, it's only sending email that's a problem.
My settings:
- Mail Service: Apple.Mac
- Protocol: IMAP
- Username: my un
- Password: my pw
- Email address: my mac.com email address
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.mac.com
- Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.mac.com
Advanced Settings - Incoming Server Settings:
- Port Number: 143
- Use Secure Connection (SSL) is NOT checked
Advanced Settings - Outgoing Server Settings:
- Port Number: 25
- Use Secure Connection (SSL) is NOT checked
- Use authentication (ESMTP) IS checked
- UN and PW are correct
Anyone have this same problem and know how to fix it?
