so its with a sad face i have to say,Goodbye sanyo..
this should have been there phone.. they tried it before with that silver stick
after having many of the EVDO phones.. and many issues.. (i so miss my sanyo 7400). i had to Leave my M1 for the Upstage.. its the only phone i haven't really tried..
i have to say im impressed with it..
i dont do mp3's or other media stuff but i like the big menu for when i need it..
you have to see the phone to really understand it..
it takes some getting usto.. a bit of a learning curve but once mastered your ok..
great sound quality.. speaker phone and earpiece (both same)
if they made a phone with just the phone side and a few mm bigger for a few mm bigger lcd id be happy..
it doesn't power a huge lcd when not needed like most other phones..
im heard better than the M1.. (the M1 started good but went a few things went)
and the m1 earpiece sucked imho
if you change to white you can easily see the little screen while driving during day and night..
middle ground
the big lcd res i think was a good choice. any higher and the phone would be allot slower.. best matched for its processor. and small i dont know if i would like higher res it seams nice.. not clutered when im driving.. spec and night..
the flipping isnt that bad not yet. even text message goes threw lil lcd. without use of big lcd
bluetooth i haven't had a chance to try out..
the few complaints i have.
speaker not greatest for music..
no flash or flashlight or indicator LED.. they could fix that.. easily.. ( a software update that will flash the keypad or half the keypad if they can go that custom. But a simple one flash every 2 or so seconds.. and if missed a call a quick 2 or 3 flash burst every 2 seconds or even make an option in the menu setting for us to set second inter vile and patterns.. that fix that CHEAP>>) and have a charge flash pattern like long or something..
This is a must.. you know how many times i know i will loose this thing under my seat in my car at night.. and not see it cause small and under the seat vent. since no flash..
they cant make the battery slide out from the bottom (any one taken one apart yet)
i have to go to Al tell Roam to get good service in the OKC area.. maybe a bit better antenna or sprint fix theres.. i go all over the place.. i should trace my routes..
extended batter case could have better fabric..
i hope the phone itself has a poly battery if lion they suck..
the custom charger now buy more accy.. just go mini usb like Motorola..
whats up with the reset.. i don't like having to have a reset button that says something.
in the end i used it a crap load yesterday and today and the battery lasted what they said....That i like
on the charger side it looks like it has an antenna connector but samsung said on the a900 it was a test port.. >>?????
