When I get a vm from another Sprint customer, before the actual message I always get their name announcement instead of the phone number they are calling from. How do I make it so I can check what number the person called from? Especially since alot of times I check my vm from my landline phone. I just want it so their number comes up on the VM announcement... Thanks

I'm positive that there is no way to turn that feature off. It is not on your end that the name is being recorded, it is on the other end. Sprint has voicemail features that allow you to either use just your number as an ID or a recorded name, that you record. I can't think of anyway to control that. In terms of returning the call can't you just hit 8 during the message to return the call.

you can only use the 8 option when calling from your cell phone. from the landline the 8 options is unavailable.
