Has anyone heard if the release date is still tentatively going to be
May 14th?
Just getting ansy so I can hopefully do an even exchange on my recently activated Treo 700wx (03/01/07 activation date)- ECare gave me up to three months from
03/01/07 to do an even exchange (hell they even sent me the Return Kit a few weeks ago- in anticipation of me sending my Treo 700wx back- so once they said okay to an
exchange- two days later I get the Kit). But if the phones regular price is higher than
the Treo 700wx- then I just have to pay the difference in regular prices (I would imagine at the most "One Ben Franklin" should cover it).

Hey, I'm in the same boat! I just ordered the Motorola Q... but sad to say I found out it doesn't support Picture Mail - which I love to do almost everyday! Pretty bummed about that! :(
Anyways, I added an additional line and switched to the Family Plan and got the Q for $99.00 (03/24/07). But now I think I want the Treo 700p... but now I found out about this new Treo coming out. So I'm thinking about what to do... If I send back the Q and get the existing Treo 700p... would I still be in time to switch it for the new Treo 755p? I want to have some leverage on me... meaning I can call and ask for the new Treo 755p with a good price... or else cancel my 2nd line... you know what I mean...?

Since you live in the same area as I- San Pedro here...
I will give you some things to think about- Like I said I have the Treo 700wx- I am bummed since I can't upload or download pictures/video mail like my previous phone-
Samsung A800.
I don't know if the Treo 755p will either- but either way if it comes out as scheduled- I will be putting my Treo 700wx in the Return Kit that ECare sent me weeks ago.
Normal leverage with Sprint/Nextel always helps if you have been a subscriber for awhile- I have been with Sprint for 7+ Years.
I would email ECare and tell them that you just got the Q but don't like it- had thoughts on getting the Treo 700p- then found out that the Treo 755p comes out
around mid May 2007- depending on how long you have been with Sprint they may
let you do what I can do- have a 3 month exchange timeframe- normal exchange policy is 30 days- not one day more.
And on the rare occasion ECare can't help- Threaten to cancel- and Retention might
be able to assist.
