first let me say this question doesnt totally revolve around SERO, sero just happens to be in the mix, and also i didnt realize it was going to be so long, sorry. :D

yesterday i went into my local sprint store and signed up with a moto q and a new line of service. when it came time to chose my plan i let the rep know that i wanted to sign up for the sero plan that im sure everyone knows about, but he said he wasnt able to do so. he said that too many employees had been flagged for doing so but that i should just call CS and they could switch me over. i see that u are able to it online with a valid e-mail or one that is floating around the forums but if i do that it would mean going back into the store and returning my current moto q and cancelling my current plan what ever it is the rep put me under. this wouldnt be too much of a problem seeing as i just signed up yesterday so i wouldnt have an etf. i have called cs once and gone through the e-mail a couple times and have been rejected for signing up for the sero plan. the rep on the phone didnt have an idea what i was talking about and in the emails i just kept getting referred to the website sprint.com/sero. so my question is should i go into the store cancel everything and just do it online since i can log in with an email and it looks like it would work... or just keep what i have now call cs and have them change my PV plan from 25 to 15 apply my corporate discount 25% i work at sears, and hope that in the next couple days or so i could get e-care to either give me free unlim. text or powervision?

If the Sprint system has your info, I believe you are considered a new customer and if you cancel (even within the 14 days), you will not be able to activate a new plan with Sprint for 90 days.

Try calling employee accounts, they were the dept tasked with managing and signing up people for Sero. Be advised you'll probably have to have a legimate referral to go thru them. :)

yesterday i went to the store and returned my moto q. according to the rep at the store he somewhat cancelled my plan... its just because he had to keep that number active so i would be able to port it over to my new sero plan. i placed my order last night online for my sero plan and my samsung phone and its already been processed and shipped out. seeing as its already been shipped out that means that its been approved by sprint for my sero plan and its slated to arrive here tomorrow afternoon. i will post with an update tomorrow. :fingers: :fingers:

Hmmmmm I was thinking about doing this since I've only had my sevice for 17 days. How did he somewhat cancel it so you could port your number over?

technically or what did he type into his computer... i havent the slightest clue. when he was done i asked him "so i'm done, and my plan is done and you debited my credit card for $100(cost of moto q)?? and all he said was something along the lines of, "yah i gave u ur money back, and i still had to kind a keep ur plan active just so you dont lose your number." like i said before i will try and post a reply tomorrow after i get my phone and call e-care and have them TOTALLY cancel out my original plan and transfer my number to the sero plan. cross ur fingers it all works, i will let you know.

hey Wayne1, seeing as u said i'm gonna love sero, that means that u have sero yourself, right? if u do, because it comes with unlimited powervision access, does that mean unlimited sprint tv?

Yes and No, the free channels you get with vision, like 2-3 are free, but purchasing the better tv packs you will have to pay for them. but if you are using the channels that come with vision, then you can watch those until you go blind from the small screen.

It's the Power Vision plan that would cost about $15. per month if it wasn't in the Sero package. Make sure the rep activates picture mail (it is included), have them check the dropdown, if they can't find it. :)
