ESN swap with discounted Q?

So the Q I obtained through retentions for $99 and it should be here tomorrow. I am on a very old GF'd Vision which includes unlimited text and data for $10 a month. Will I just be able to call in and say I want the ESN swap done to keep my old Vision. All the rep said when I ordered the phone was that I had to extend my contract by two years to get the discounted price. I logged on to mypcs and my plan is identical to what it was before the order.

You will likely be told you are losing that vision plan, but ask to speak to retentions and request that they do the ESN swap for you.

Likely, you will be offered something like the $15 vision plan (no picture mail) for $5 and unlimited text messages for $8. They may even apply some loyalty discount to make the net cost to you increase by nothing.

Be polite, explain your situation clearly and with an attitude of "I'm sure you will be able to help me" as opposed to acting like sprint personally screwed you over. :)
