I read somewhere I thought about a discount of 300 text messages for students. Does anyone have any info about this?

Sprint has replied that it is only for new customers.

Another solution wold be to email eCare about it (contact us link on sprint.com after signing in) and ask that they give you the free text message option. They may code you for 500 free and it not be a 1 year deal.
