Ok, so I saw this listing on ebay. Is it too god to be true. It looks pretty legit. Any thoughts? Please.

yeah its legit but read the fine print theres some weird restrictions sometimes like not being able to change your plan for sometime and not being able to do an esn swap for some time
we need a sticky in here about these things

Generally for the ebay deals, like 99 cent treo's, you have to accept an additional line of service onto your account. You also cannot set it up as a family shared plan. It has to be added as a single line plan and left for some set period of time. After that time period expires you may switch it to an added line price of 10 bucks. So add that into the cost. For example, if they make you take the 60 dollar plan for 3 months, that's 180 gone right there. I've never done those offers, treo in the store right now is 250 if you're adding a line.

If you get it, read all the small print, or you will get charged full price for the phone
Yes, just verify the sellers terms, as not all ebay sellers are the same.
I got a Treo off of an ebay seller and only had to keep the plan it was set up on for one billing cycle, had to keep the line active for at least 6 months, and only had to wait 30 days to be able to do an ESN swap.
So, not all sellers are equal :)

I bought 2 M610's from eBay, from wificellworld. I would recommend this seller. I was able to add the new phones as AAP to my F&F family plan for $9.99 from day 1. At the last day of the first billing period that I bought the phone (last January), I swapped out ESNa from my other sub-lines which contract had expired to keep my old phone numbers, and cancelled one of the line. One of the expired line, I kept as Sprint said I could keep it for $0 AAP, as an emergency spare. So, I wound up with 2 M610 for totally free with instant rebates, and first month service credit as well. Also I negotiated and signed 2-year contract only to get better phone plan through retention since I cancelled one line.
As Dan said, each eBay has different terms, you will definitely need to contact potential seller about specific terms.

OK...so I went ahead and did it. Everything seems to be going ok. The terms are I cant change my plan for a month and have to keep the number active for 6 months....lets hope everything else goes smoothly....
