View Full Version : Questions about totally erasing a phone and using Bit Pim

Recently I bought a used phone. It's a MM9000, and I'm in love with it. I finally got Bit Pim to work on it the other day, and I was super excited. I got it to grab my phone book, my text messages, my ringers and my pictures. It also grabbed the text messages and pictures of the previous owners. I can only assume it was more than one owner, as there are several different area codes. I was freaking out! What the heck should the previous owners have done to erase this info before passing the phone along?

It started me thinking about all the phones that I"ve passed along, and what I should have done to those phones. It's kind of scary to think that anyone with the software and cables can go into my old phone and pull up that really personal stuff.

So, one of you TechoGurus out there, tell me: What do I need to do to TOTALLY RESET all pictures, texts, etc. on my phone before I sell it?
