The first of many :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2
With many people having DVR's and TiVo these days. Could we not announce the winner in the title. Something like "Results of Daytona 500 - 2007" for example.
I (and many others) use New Post to browse the forums, and had recorded the race. Not much point in watching it now. Just a courtesy

Maybe this should be posted on all threads that announce the winner of any sporting contest :irked:
Here is an example of what I'm saying... there is no post saying that this should not be titled this way (prior to it being closed). Let's be fair about this!
Gonzaga sees nation-longest 50-game home win streak crushed (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=126232)
Absolutely.
I am sure you wouldn't appreciate knowing the winner before you had seen the or any sporting event.
I don't really think it is too much to ask. Everybody wins. People who want to know can enter the thread, and people that do not want to are not subject to see the results.
Like I said, is it really too much to ask?

No, it's not I agree. I think you missed the point of my reply, because you didn't address it in yours...My concern is that (again) that it needs to be consistant among all users. Maybe there should be guidelines for the Arena that spells that out for people.

I haven't watched the race yet either. I knew who won though. Don't say anything about the spin on Pruett either, I want to see it first.

That's what JPM did in F1 and they didn't like it so they ostracized him.
But he who sees the hole first goes for it.
Tho teamates shouldn't take each other out & be more careful that's for sure. JPM was very apologetic after the race & Pruet was justifiably upset.
Life goes on. JPM has served notice to the N-Car boys.
I'm sure JPM will get his licks in, but I guess that he'll be on the loosing side of most of those love taps.
