After reading a few reviews, I had decided to buy the Sanyo 7000.
I have been with Sprint for 6 years. When I put in my zip code (46613 South Bend, IN), the Sanyo 7000 does not appear. If I put in a Chicago zip code it does appear on their list of available phones. What does this mean? My 2 prior phones, both Samsungs, worked in both cities. Any and all info appreciated.

your south bend address is in an affiliate market, IPCS to be exact. has nothing to do with the phone at all. put in 49503 where i'm at and doesn't work for me either, but 48823 East Lansing perfectly.

if ya have some time, read this (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83548) in regards to ipcs being bought out, or check their website here (http://www.ipcswirelessinc.com/)

Thanks for the info. I don't have a lot of free time to get up to the Sprint Store on South Bend Ave. The hing on my Samsung vi660 broke, and I got rid of my land line a long time ago. Does this mean I can't purchase it online, and have it ready to go (setup)?
