how to set default contact # ?

Ok I read the manual and did a search here but cant figure this out.

How do I set the default phone number for my contacts. I have a bunch of people that I have 2-4 numbers for and if I go to the contact list and hit talk it dials one of the numbers but not the one I want. The manual talks about " dialing the default #" but no were it says how to set it!!!

If you move left or right on a contact it will allow you to set the default number for that contact.

That just goes to the next contact in the list

Before that... when you first enter the phone book it's a listing of all the contacts. From that section highlight the contact and then press the left/right key to select the default number.

What you mentioned about the phone going to the next contact in the list happens after you've highlighted the contact and pressed the menu/OK button.

Got it to work now.... didnt think it should be that hard but couldnt find it in the manual anywhere
