I was wanting to add a line. Would using the SERO option be the best route or would a family share plan be better?

depends on what your current plan is.

if you already have 2+ lines, the 3rd line would be 10 bucks a month (usually) to share. if you do sero, you're looking at 30.

Definately! Go to http://sprint.com/sero and use the password openaccess10@sprint.com. The current plans end Feb 28.

Also I think this post should be under tips and tricks under the discussion of sero plans. Look for it there because I am sure the Mods will move it.

Wouldn't it depend on the current plan and number of lines he has now?

I dont think you will get an extra line cheaper from CS than a SERO plan. I havent known anyone that has done that but I could be wrong. And of course that all depends if he gets it and that would depend on credit history.

Looking at the choices, it would depend on what options you desire and how many minutes you use. It may be cheaper just to get a 500 minute version of Sero for $30. a month. For that price you get a BUNCH of goodies including Mobile to Mobile, PV, etc. ;)

Right now I only have one line. I would be adding a second line. I know Sprint has the 59.99 plan where you can add a line for free, and I'm wondering if that would be cheaper than sero.

How much are you spending now along with details of your plan, how many options do you need including numbers of minutes, etc.? :)

sprint does not have sero family plans. my mom talked to a sero rep just the other day. they ended up getting 2 sero plans for 30 each

How's that a SERO family plan?

Sero = 500 minutes for $30 per line. Your "SERO family plan" is even more expensive than it is individually.

2 SERO plans have 1000 min. combined and free Sprint to Sprint, 9pm night and weekend, no rooming charge, no long distance and free PV. If you can't get a 1000 min plan and add a line for $60, which I'm sure you can't, then look at SERO. Of course that would require you to switch your current plan to SERO too... Are you willing to do that?
