Hi guys,

Quick question, is there any way i can transfer my ring tones i have created from my sd card to the phone so i can use them. I know i can do it over the web, but i dont have Vision. Just trying to find a different way.

Thanks.

It's been a while since I've tried to mess around with the multimedia on mine, but I don't think there is any way to transfer items from your SD card to your phone, and I am sure there is a trick to creating ringers. I think I found a utility on this site.

Sprint makes it tough, but there is a way..

The way to run them from your microSD card is to make them 3GP (.3G2 extension) files without video (you're basically making a video ringer without the video). You can achieve this with QuickTime Pro. I'm sure there are other options, but I've never done this type of ringtone so we'll have to hope someone else chimes in on this one.

Thanks for the help, i guess the only real way is to have Vision. I just added it for a month, which is free, and then i will remove it at the end of it.

I did this for my girlfriend, who doesn't have vision but wanted ringers anyway.

You can go into MUSIC COMPOSER and create a file (with just one note). Save the file. Download and open BitPim... connect to the Fusic. I forgot what folder it was, but somewhere is the file you created... I think it was in a weird format, but it has the same name that you saved it under on your Fusic. After you find it, you right-click that file and then select "replace with" and take any mp3/m4a to replace it with (if you're taking an mp3, make sure it's cropped to about 30 sec... not the full mp3). Once you replaced the file, go disconnect the data cable, go to your music composer and play the file... it will be your song that you replaced the dummy file with-- now you can also assign it as an incoming ringer.

If you can't figure it out by my "vague" description ;) I can find you a better how-to.... let me know!
