I had the Samsung M500, Motorola Razr, and the Samsung Blade.
I was in search of a slim phone with a great battery life. I first went to the Samsung M500. It was a small phone and that battery life was better than I expected. I kept the phone for 2 weeks because I loved what the phone was really meant to be. It was a small, very light powerful phone that can be slipped in your pocket and not have any cares. I believe the outer shell was made out out of a plastic that was very scratch resistant, like the older phones were you can slip your phone in your pocket and not worry about keys or coins scratching it. I carried two batteries with me where ever I went because there were days I used my phone morning till night. I loved the phone, but the screen was too small, and if I was going to carry a second battery with me, I rather have a phone with a bigger screen.
I then went to the Motorola Razr. It was the phone everyone had to have. I loved the body of the phone, other than the volume key that was very shaky. I found that buying accessories for the phone was very easy because every store from Target to Walmart has accessories for the Razr. But I did return the Razr because of the user interface. I have not had a Motorola phone for a long time, but the interface was very laggy, and was not as customizable as a Samsung. I did love the loudness of the speakers though. With the user interface bothering me, I returned it.
I then went with the Samsung Blade. It had a Motorola Razr body look with out the laggy and horrible user interface. The metal of the Blade feels much better than the Razr and I think the screen looks better. The blade's user interface is kinda sluggish, but not as slow as the Razr. I do like the outer MP3 controls the blade offers. Its much easier to access my music. I have no major complaints about the battery because I always carry a spare battery. I cant find many accessories for the Blade at major chain stores, but the Body Glove case for the Blade looks and fits just great. Texting is easier on the Blade then the Razr.
Im not a really heavy cell user. I use my phone for talking about 2-3 hours a day, sending 40 texts a day, sending one picture mail once a week, and listening to a few MP3's one in a while.
My conclusion, out of the m500, Razr, and the 900m, I choose the 900m.
