8400 & new message icon

Does anyone know how to get rid of the new message indicator on the 8400? I've deleted all of my messages, voice mails, etc, and even did a factory reset on my phone, yet I still can't seem to get rid of it.

Nope, at least according to the menu on the phone I don't, but how do I check and see if I do have any?

edit:
I just checked again and in the messaging menu it says no voice sms's. In the past like i said I reset my phone back to the default settings which erased everything, I have deleted all of my voice mail messages including saved ones, yet it still won't go away.

if it says you dont then you shouldn't. nothing in the missed alerts menu either I would assume? strange...

have you tried clearing the voicemail icon (menu>messaging>voicemail>clear count)?

yep, i've tried everything, oh well, looks like a call to tech support is in order.

as I said earlier in a post, I've done that and everything else. But I'll call them sometime this evening.
