I just looked at my bill, and Sprint dropped my 15% military and 5% loyalty discounts from SERO saying that they cannot be added to any SERO account!!
They WERE on there, but now mysteriously were taken off. I called a CSR and he (rudely) told me that "if i read the SERO plan, you will see that no other discounts can be applied".
Who can i contact? I've already emailed Ecare, but i doubt that will do any good. Anyone have info?

I had the SERO plan added in January, and the discounts were on my Jan + Feb bill.....now the bill for March = GONE!
Any ideas?

Contact executive services and calmly explain the situation to them. Ask them to reinstate the discounts. Try that and please post back in this thread with their reply. :)

Thanks Wayne, do you happen to have the # handy?
I think ill see what E-care says first via email, tho i doubt they will resolve it.
Once i get that reply back, ill call executive.

When did you start SERO? If you had the discounts in the first month then it was removed, complain how they "baited" you into sprint with the discounts, and once the 1 month trial period was over and you were stuck with them, they removed it

I wonder if they are going to start taking off the employer discounts as well? To tell you truth, the $30/500 minutes sero plan is so cheap I wouldn't care if they didn't add any discounts.

I agree pablito, the 30/500 plan is what ive got (w/ 500 free text). I really cant complain, but.......$26.xx compared to $35.xx seems better to me! :)

they will not allow additional discounts to SERO, it is in the terms of getting sero.

The terms may say that, but trust me.......there a quite a few that have corp. discounts and loyalty discounts on top of SERO. I used to be one of them and hopefullly will be again soon!

I would like to know where it states that discounts are not allowed. I'm not at all upset, since I knew it before I signed up for the plan, and I haven't even tried to get a discount added, but the terms and conditions dont say anything about that. Plus, on Sprint.com when viewing my bill, I'm pretty sure Ive seen a link to see if I'm eligible for a discount.

Interesting,
Has anyone else gotten this to happen to their bill? I've looked at the treocentral Sero threads and no one has mentioned it over there yet.
I wonder if this means Sprint is trying to crack down since they are opening Sero to more and more people.

Considering SERO is so cheap to begin with; whats the problem w/ the discount being removed? It seems like you want SERO and discount.....why not just call and ask for a free account? :irked:

I was told that I was getting my Credit Union discount. My billing date even changed. I didn't get the discount, it was removed the day it was added. I'm not complaining, the plan is cheap enough, I'm getting a heck of a deal.

During the extended time I had service without a contract, Sprint would call me up and offer me 5% discounts for resigning for another two years. I never did accept those lame offers, it took Sero to get me back under Sprint's thumb. It really has a huge discount built in. :music:

Don't worry about what other people have on their plans. It doesn't make it right, nor should it give you a sense of entitlement. If that is what the terms say, then you have no argument.
Don't even bother to argue it. All you're going to do is put a whole bunch of notes on your account that have you calling in repeatedly to try and put discounts on top of SERO after you were told no by all of the other reps.
Follow pixiedrea's lead and just be happy that you have SERO. If you want your discounts back, you could always give up SERO.......

You can apply for the discount all you want, they just won't approve of any for you for where you work. The only discount you can really hope to get is a MRC Loyalty type discount, and it won't be easy. Both Sero plans and the connection card prices are already discounted too far.

Be glad Sprint offers Sero and you qualify for it. Remember these are companies - not charities.

that cooperate discounts don't work with SERO over the phone but was told they do in an email. But my last two bills have both been 26 dollars after taxes and that includes both my 15% loyalty discount and my 5% cooperate.

No one. there's no one to contact. You were not entitled to extra discounts on a SERO account.

Technically they aren't supposed to be there. Just because people have it, that doesn't mean Sprint suddenly made it ok.
If you have it, great. If it gets taken away, then be happy you were able to save a few bucks but the time, effort and notations on your account will not be worth it trying to get it back.

we have 4 approved SERO threads, and this isn't one of em!
SERO is dirt cheap, and you dont deserve any more discounts. If you want a loyalty discount and your copr discount, pay full price for what you get with SERO. You will find out that the SERO plan was as cheap or cheaper.
If you want to discuss this further, check out one of the 4 SERO threads that SERO related posts belong in!
