My samsung timed out when watching video if you didn't press a key every 5 minutes. Does this happen on the M1? Is there a workaround if it does? I'm thinking of switching to the M1.

Yes, there's a workaround on here. You can set the timeout to 99 minutes. Get that phone, I love mine!! :wavey:

To change the timeout press ##3282#. Go to Multimedia -> Edit -> Enter MSL -> then change the timeout to 99.

MSL - Master Subsidy Lock

A numeric code (password) that prevents a user from accessing certain technical settings of a phone.

Basically just call up Sprint and ask them if you can please get the MSL for your phone... they should give it to you with no problem.

Just in case I cannot get it, what is the default timeout set at? The samsung was 5 minutes.

Default is 5 on the M1 and pretty much any Power vision phone. Now if you could just do this with the Treo 700p for Sprint TV

And thanks by the way, this always bugged me while watching ABC news on Sprint TV
