View Full Version : Sanyo PM 8200 PC Sync - How?

I have a Sanyo PM 8200, and I'm trying to get it to sync to my Mac. I have the USB cable and BitPim, but I can't get the phone to actually connect to my computer and BitPim can't find it. I've searched the forums and can't find any instructions on how to do this. The only options on the phone under Tools/PC Sync are Ringers, Images or Erase Data, and I can't find any way to connect in any other menu. How can I get it to connect? Will it not work on Mac's? Thanks for your help.

afaik on windows you need to install drivers...not so sure on mac. I had the same phone and synced it to my pc. And i dont think you need to use the sync options on the phone. Read through bitpim's manual more carefully it should have sufficient informaion on how to accomplish what your trying to do
