Here are the league rules:
Picks
-Each member will pick 3 drivers for each race
1 primary driver that will not change through out the season
2 alternate drivers that they can change from week to week
-Any member that has joined the league and has not selected prior to the first race of the season will receive no points. When selecting a primary driver, these members will not be allowed to select a primary drive that has already been selected by another member. For example, let’s say 5 members choose Jimmy Johnson as their primary before the first race. Another member waits until the 4th race of the season to choose their 3 drivers and want “JJ” as their primary. They cannot do that. they need to choose a driver that has not been selected as a primary. He can only be chosen as a 2nd or 3rd.
-As of the All-Star race at Lowe’s the picks will change
1 primary driver (same as above)
1 2nd driver as a back up for the chase (this driver will not change)
1 alternate that can be changed from week to week
-You will need to pick a team name
-Any member with less than 3 picks for each race will only receive points for the drivers they selected.
-All picks are due by midnight the day of qualifying.
(If qualifying should be rained out, Picks are then due by midnight before the race. This will give each member additional time to research the track history to decide who to pick for the race)
-If picks are not received, the pick from the previous week will be used
-If one of your picks cannot start the race, you have until the start of the race to pick a new driver. For example when Roush fired Kurt Bush, with 2 races left in 2005 you can pick a new driver to replace him or go with the driver taking over that car.
-If you driver does start the race, but needs to be replaced. For example Tony Stewart at Dover 2006 (Spring Race). That driver will stand for the entire race. Remember, according to NASCAR rules a driver only needs to complete one lap of a race to get the points for where that car finishes.

Points
-I will use the unofficial points posted right after the race to score the race. Points that are deducted or added throughout the week, will not affect the points of the league.
-The member with the most points scored each week will received a bonus of 10 points.
-If you notice an error in the points, please bring it to my attention prior to qualifying for the next race so I can make adjustments to the points and standings. I will be happy to make any adjustments that are needed to keep the league fair and accurate. Once qualifying begins it is officially to late to dispute any previous race results. I will not be offended if members go to NASCAR.com and double check their points each week. That is your right and I will change the points if I am wrong, but the cut off is qualifying for the next race.

-All picks are reset for the chase. Your primary driver will be determined as stated below. Your 2nd and 3rd drivers will need to be picked again. Picks from the previous week will not be honored. However, after these picks are made, you can let them ride for the rest of the season.
-The first driver listed (when I post the picks for the race every week) is your "primary driver" this will be your guy during the chase.
- As long as you are the only one who as picked him as a primary, and he makes the chase you have no worries.
- If you and another person that picked the same driver, The person with the most points will get to use him for the chase.
- If you don't win that driver, your 2nd driver you have listed will be used as long as they are in the chase. If not, you will need to pick a new diver... I will allow people to select new chase drivers in order of points. Person with the most point who needs to pick goes first and so on.
