Try Adobe ImageReady, the companion program to PhotoShop.
There are also other programs available from companies like Ulead.
If you know how to work PhotoShop then ImageReady should be a snap.

I have ImageReady too and I don't know how to work PhotoShop that well. All the layers and options confuse me. Do you know how to draw rims, or animate pics of rims?

Sure I do. Open the gif in ImageReady....PhotoShop is where ya wanna do the editing of individual images (like rims), which can then be put into layers in ImageReady. Each frame can then be set to display whatever layers you select for whatever length of time you want. The gif your displaying in your post was assembled then saved as a single image. The original image was tweaked and saved again. This process was repeated to make 11 separate images. Those images were then layered together to produce a gif.
A second method would have been to insert each part as it's own layer (rims layer, brick wall layer, car layer, wheels layer...etc). Then each layer could be manipulated individually.
I can whip out a gif like a pro...........converting the gif in CMX Studio to a pmd file and getting it to play as a screensaver on my Sanyo SCP-3100 without a blank white frame in the loop is where I'm runnin into problems.

If there's a blank white frame then can't you just delete it. I never had that problem when using CMX.

Anyone know how to make a moving brick wall like in the pic in the first post?

There is no white frame displaying the animation in CMX. Only after I've D/L'd the file to my phone does the white frame show up. My screen turns white in between the last and first frame. I'm beginning to suspect that it is the phone, and not something I'm doing. But that dosen't explain how they got the preset bubbles animation (3 frames) to loop without a blank frame.
Anyhow I'm sick of jacking around with these outdated programs trying to create custom content for an outdated phone.....I'm getting a different phone!
Time to go back and look at the phones after employee discount, and maybe spend some money this time....haha.
If i'm going to have to carry some little device around with me, then it's gonna have to do something besides allow other people to bother me.

After hours and hours of messing around with all the confusing features of photoshop I finally created my own background.

Anyone know why a gif would appear with a lot of yellow in it after it is saved?

I figured out how to fix the discolored optimized gifs. Be for you save, click the optimized tab on the main window to show the exact output of the file. If it is discolored, click window then color table. Click the small arrow on the right side and the load color table. The color table that looks the best to me is the Mac OS, even though I'm using windows. The color doesn't look as good as the orginal but its better than a totally discolored pic.
