Ok I put this in another thread and dont really know what forum it goes in so if it needs to be moved...

I just recieved my m610. So far so good. The only thing is that when I try to transfer things over bluetooth from my old a900 it says failed of that there was no permission. Can someone tell me what they did or how to do it?

Thanks for any info.

I transferred all my files to my PC. From there I can transfer them to any phone I want. Can you connect each phone to a PC via bluetooth or USB cable?

I can backup the contacts from the a900 to a computer with the data cable, but since I have no bluetooth for the laptop it wont help. Ive heard of people who can do it from phone to phone but it doesnt work for me. :bang:

Take both phones into a Sprint store and ask them to transfer the files. I know they will do that for your phonebook. I'm not sure about other files. What other files do you want to transfer?

Nothing else except the contacts, I guess Ill have to go into the store and get them transferred. The only problem I worry is that my city doesnt even have the m610 yet (had to order online) so Im not sure they can even do it. Ill give it a shot though thanks.

M610 has bluetooth and that transfer can be done over bluetooth, I think. Otherwise they need a USB cable.

Ok just to update, I finally figured it out and have transferred what I need over to my new phone. Thanks for the help.
