So my sister lost her new fusic, and we are still trying to recover it, but chances are that we wont get it. We do not have phone insurance. Do you think sprint will in any way help get a new phone? Will they offer is a discount off new/reburbished phones? OR is there anyway we can try to get that? My sister wants a music phone (like the fusic) where she can tranfer songs from her computer to the cell phone, and using a headset listen to the songs. If she has to buy a new phone, (then we might buy it from here, or ebay), will it cost $$ to activate it?
Also, can anybody post all the sprint phones that are mp3 capable? meaning that they will play mp3s from her computer put onto a microSD card and basically its like an mp3 player and cell phone combined.
Thanks!

Customer service won't help out, that's why they offer insurance. You could go the "I'm gonna cancel!!" route but that's not somethign I can recommend.
Normal upgrade fee is 36 dollars, that is much easier to get a CSR to waive since it's something they can acctually do if you get the right one and explain what happened, or have a store rep call in and do it/do it themselves.
As far as a list of the phones... www.sprint.com, view phones, sort by multimedia phones. Razor would probably be the easiest to get out of all of em.

compare all the phones on sprint.com, or phonescoop.com
If you buy a used phone on ebay or craigslist, check the ESN number to make sure it's clean

Unless she's eligible for an upgrade Sprint prolly won't be much help. Radioshacks sell refurbished Sprint phones

refurbished phones are different than pre-owned phones. i wish people would stop mixing the two up.
you can't buy REFURBISHED phones since they are technically zero price phones used for exchanges.
you could try going to/calling a sprint store and seeing if they sell PREOWNED phones and tell them exactly why you need one - lost phone, no insurance, no upgrade eligibility. beware a 2 yr contract and 36 act fee will apply, as well as the store saying you may have to have insurance on your phone out the door.
