i have a cracked version of telenav on my fusic (so i dont need to pay $10/month) and also the $20 power vision pack. im thinking 'bout taking off the power vision package off my plan, but i am worried that i am going to get charged per kb when i use telenav. telenav is pretty useful for me here, but i have no use for any of the other power vision services. so does anybody know if sprint charges per kb downloaded onto the phone whenever i use telenav for directions??? 'cause if not, im gonna take the power vision off my plan.

If you do not have a PV plan then, pasted from the website,:
"Customers with a Sprint PCS Vision phone or a Sprint Power Vision phone will be charged $0.03 per kilobyte for Sprint PCS Vision or Sprint Power Vision usage unless a Sprint PCS Vision Pack or Sprint Power Vision Pack is selected."
$0.03 will be the going rate for the data usage

With the above information you can do a little test. Reset your phone or note the data usage counter on your phone. Use telenav for an average trip you might take and see how much data is used and multiply that by the current rate that will be charged. This may give you an idea of what it may cost you to use it on a Pay-Per-Use. Garmin or another gps app might use less data.
