Can I make ringtones somehow for free for the Sanyo M1? I am putting songs on the phone and all that is okay but Sprint won't let me set them as ringtones as they want me to purchase them from them...
I have searched the forums but came up with nothing. I know there is a way I heard about but I'm not sure exactly what to do

Songs have to be sent to the phone using an uploader....such as the one found here. Locate it above under the FOCUS tab.
Try doing a search. There is more information than you care to read about this subject.

Can you make M4A ringtones for this phone, or do they have to be in QCP format?

Great. That was one of the features I love best about my 7400, but while it still works much better than the average two-year phone, it's not working as well as it used to. I want a phone that has everything my 7400 has, or more.
