muddy8400

Just feel like telling you I've had my Sanyo 8400 for two months now and find it to almost be the perfect entertainment center. Just wish it was a better phone. The earpiece speaker sound is very muddy and hard to understand the caller. Local Sweetie at the Sprint store told me "That's the way the earpiece speakers are in those multi media phones." What??? Well, I also have a 2400 without all the bells & whistles and it doesn't have the muddy sound problem. It is as clear as it should be, but it doesn't have all the toys I wanted. Muddy sound and the inability to use my own MP3s (or any common format) as ringtones by transferring them to the phone over a simple USB cable without having to stand on my left elbow, touch my left ear with my right elbow while holding both feet off the floor, purchasing QuickTime Pro and spending even more computer time stuffing sound files in front of the QuickTime file prevents me from recommending this to you even though it's an awesome piece of engineering by Sanyo. Yes, I did keep it past the Satisfaction Guaranteed period, so It's MINE, but just thought you should know before you bought one yourself. I now say "What?" a LOT in my conversations. Thanks.
