I tried getting 6PM N&W through Ecare and was shut down.
I actually had a reason for requesting the 6 PM N&W free. I had sent Sprint an email regarding the major problem I had trying to get the PRL updated on my M1 phone. It took 5 phone calls and over 2 1/2 hours. You can read about my ordeal in the link below:
I asked if Sprint would consider giving me 6 PM N&W for free as a way of saying thank you for the money saving idea and for the problems I experienced in getting the PRL update.
Response:
Dear X,
Thank you for contacting us again.
We truly appreciate your feedback and the suggestion you gave regarding PRL update. It is sincere customer like you which made the Sprint a successful company.
However, at this time, we are unable to add free 6 PM option to your account. Periodically, we offer free offers to our customers and looking into your sincerity, I am sure very soon your account will be eligible for such freebies.
Thank you for contacting us. Have a great day.

I tried getting 6PM N&W through Ecare and was shut down.
I wrote into eCare asking for the normal 7p.m. nights & weekends and was turned down unless I renewed my contract...needless to say I'm fine with 9p.m nights & weekends right now.

My understanding is that SERO comes with 7 PM N&W, Unlimited Text Messaging amoung other options.
Now my question to the forum member is, I changed my plan to SERO $49.99 in May with my SERO plan took effect on 6/1. Since Sprint added the Unlimited Text Messaging and Data, I had CS add the Unlimited Text Messaging.
The Unlimited Text Messaging shows up when I log into my account and click on current usage and looks like the screenshots in the link below (although my plan is the $49.99):
Do I have Unlimited Data also so that I can use my M1 phone as a modem? If so, can I see that I have Unlimited Data when I check my account?

I thought Vision is just for web browsing and downloading music from Sprint store, etc from your cell phone. If your cell phone supports being used as a modem to your PC, you needed the Data plan.
Correct? If yes, is the Data plan bundled with the Unlimited Text Messaging or do I need to call CS and get the free data plan added to my cell phone?
What does SERO mean by Data? Is that just Vision or modem?

I just got a SERO plan, after a few trial and errors with the plan I finally got it w/unlimited text messages. I am a Sprint dealer, so when I check account information the description for the unlimited texts is "$0 UNL SMS PLAN FOR INPHONIC ERROR.” That’s pretty funny, Inphonic screwed up so bad they got an add-on named after them.
I was able to get a retentions specialist add on a 25% corp. discount. Since I have a SERO plan she said most likely when they go to add it they will deny it. I have to wait the 60 days to see if it will be denied or not. Has anyone had any luck with adding corp. discounts? I’ve read a few stories that they were able to, but later on it was removed.

For those of you that don't already have n&w@7 for free you need to let them know that it's a part of the Sero plan. What they will probably do is give you a recurring credit for $5. I just called them about my sister's bill yesterday because I seen that she was getting charged for it and the rep said she'll give me a recurring credit.

Thanks for the comments/suggestion. May I ask when your sister first signed up for SERO? And if her contract had to be renewed when they gave her the $5 credit? I was told that I couldn't get the 7p.m. nights & weekends because my plan was set up before that offer was available (signed up for SERO over a year ago). I know the same logic has allowed me to get unlimited texting for free now so I guess this particular Sprint eCare rep has a double standard?

You just have to get the right person; they will change it for you. The problem is that they are discontinuing the SERO plans temporarily, and not all representatives know the codes (most don’t even know what SERO is). If they try to look it up in the computer it will show the old plans that had 9PM. This happened to me, and I had to have the rep give me a $5 charge and credit for 7PM. The Sprint account audit team picks it up fast (3 hours for me) and changes your plan to the correct code. Sprint is really cracking down on SERO plans, and in a few months (probably a lot longer then that) they will have a special dept. for it, and no one else will be able to handle those accounts.
If you need help with SERO plans call 1-866-250-2221, this is employee accounts and will soon be SERO accounts!

I would call and confirm that the 5 dollar credit doesn't expire. If it does, then I'd call employee accounts and have them switch out codes.

yes, I'm aware of that, but where would I enter them in, and what do they do, exactly?
It appears to me they're just signup codes, though I could be wrong.
Also, have any of you had any success with getting one of the Sprint Premier Packs or the Sprint Ultimate Premier Pack at a lower price?
SERO already comes with Power Vision (a $15 value), thus, could I get one of the Premier Packs for $5, or the Ultimate Premier Pack for $10?

Yes, getting 2 SERO lines would be cheaper; each line would include the $15 Power Vision plan for free. Also, you would get free unlimited text messaging on each line as well.
As for an e-mail address...I might be out of line in posting this, and if I am, I am deeply sorry....

How many minutes do you have on the family plan? If it is like 800, and one person uses 100 and the other uses 700, then two SERO lines would give EACH person 500 ($30) minutes, which might cause issues for you. But overall, more than likely two SERO plans would be the way to go.

Emailed in and played "the switcher" yesterday. Told them my old provider gave me unlimited text messages and I was still evaluating the service. I then said that a friend of mine with the same plan said his came with 500 text messages and then asked why mine did not.
Got the response this morning that they added the unlimited text message option for free. It's actually for my wife's line and the unlimited is quite a bit overkill. She'll probably only use 50 or so a month which is why I was angling for the 500 text messages for free. Didn't expect the unlimited but then there it is.
When I signed up her account a week ago, they did not add the promo text message option that expires on Saturday.

Okay, here my sero attempt story.
I called Employee Account and asked about sero. The rep I had initially was EXTREMELY incompetant. He didn't know what he was doing so he transfered me to retentions.
The retentions rep was very nice (his name was Courtney. Odd, I know) and he asked all my info and come to think of it, the employee accounts rep never asked my name or last 4 of SSN.
As soon as he pulled up my account he said, "Oh no, Ensemble!" So, he proceded to tell me that he would switch me to the sero plan, but ensemble would not let him without canceling my acct, ETF, new phone number etc.
So, to make me happy, he changed my $20.00 power vision to free power vision (I'll lose my Sprint Radio Premier, but I don't care) and changed my $5 300 texts to Free Unlimited Text. All that and a 20% loyalty discount. And I had to keep my Power Pack 450 for $39.99 (and tep for $7)
So I went from an MRC of $71.99 + tax to MRC of about $37.60 + tax.
I'm happy!

Sounds like Ensemble doesn't let things, lik existing line SERO conversions, slip through the cracks. It also looks like all those people that have existing lines, but want SERO, won't be able to be converted just by finding a nice rep who would be willing to. I wonder if people will start finding nice reps who let them cancel without ETF's now, lol. My guess is that'll be 100x harder to come by.

If you want to keep the phone you have, then you could just purchase the plan and buy it with one of the phones that comes for free. The Fusic is even being offered for free right now. Then you could purchase the plan with the free phone and once you receive the new phone you could swap it out for the one you have now. Then you could even sell the new phone for a profit.

I e-mailed ecare to ask if I could get it applied to my account since I did just sign a new two year contract. They wrote back and asked me to send a scan of the letter in to them. I sent them in a copy of the letter, and viola! I now have the SERO plan with a 10% loyalty discount added in. Ill see if its actually on my plan when I get my next bill in a few weeks, but now I have an e-mail trail to reference in case its not.

I actually have only been with Sprint since Nov. of 2004. So my two years was up this past November, and I have just been floating month to month.
I was getting the offers in the mail about every two months to save the 10%, but I didnt want to change up my plans because of the changes in anytime minutes. Then I found out about SERO, and I was told that I couldnt get the discount since it was a "new" line of service (but I did get to keep my old number).
So, after I signed up and they sent me another one of those offers in the mail, I figured it couldnt hurt to ask about the discount.
Lo and behold, it worked!

Retentions gave me FIFM on my main line when I asked them for a little help because I get a lot of incoming wrong numbers. My number is very similar to a local business number. I was upfront with them - told them I was not planning to cancel but wondered since I have been with them since 1997 they could figure out someway to help me manage these calls.
I just changed to SERO on 3 lines. eCare turned me down for a loyalty discount, FIFM or any type of perk because I have SERO which is not eligible for any additional discount. My account is not on Ensemble - I just checked. :hee:

I'm just wondering. I recently signed for 2 new sero plans. They are both on the same account number. I just applied for a corporate discount. They asked for the phone number on the account. I put one of the numbers. Does the discount apply for the entire bill on the account or just that phone number I put? Should I apply again for the other number on the account? Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

They just removed free 6PM and FIMF from my account, but it's OK because I didn't really need those. They did give me what i did need though. my BB unlimited plan for $30 instead of 40 or 50. I'm on SERO 500 BTW

They removed it because in order to add the BB plan to SERO, they had to totally remove my plan, convert it to ensemble, add the BB plan, then the SERO plan. Then they said with ensemble, it wouldn't let him add the perks. He gave me 100 bonus minutes though instead, so I'm happy. I never use more than 200-300 a month anyway. plus my BB unlimited is only 30

Well I emailed ecare this morning, and within 30 minutes (yes, no joking, good response time)... I got this response:
Thank you for contacting Sprint. I understand your concern regarding the SERO plan.
Yes, you go ahead and opt for newer SERO plan for $30.00 which includes:
1. Unlimited SMS
2. Unlimited Night & Weekens starting at 7 pm.
3. Unlimited Internet.
Please write back to us with the confirmation and we will go ahead and change your

I see Sero is now including free data and text messaging. Last Thursday I spent an hour in the store trying to get them to fix my Sero account (Long story) Do you think 7 days later they'd give me the free text messages that I am currently paying $10 for?

Stay away from the store. I have always had the best results through e-care.
Well, customer service via phone directed me by phone to go to a store and show them my emailed confirmation to change my account back to Sero. The store (I'm really not surprised) said that was not possible and customer service had to do it and tried to shoo me away from other potential customers. After 15 minutes of this discussion and her reading notes on my account and repeating herself I asked for their phone. I spent 30 minutes between the store and CS (Which made everyone nervous, hehe) before employee services made the switch. My idea was to just sit in the store and wait for a fix and it worked.
I had so much hassle getting my existing (20ish days old) line up and running I'm afraid to cancel and recreate. Should I just email e-care and explain to them that I'm less than a month into my contract and would prefer unlimited text vs the promotion they had when I joined (Motorola Q for $49, I believe. I did not take the offer)
Thanks in advance.

When I first got sero the unlimited text was not an option. One letter to e-care and the option was added. So as I stated above stay away from the store, e-care is the way to go.

-Blackberry 8830, Free! (Paid $211 for it, and had the same amount credited back to my account) Activation & Over night shipping free!
-SERO Plan 1250 @ 49.99 W/ Nights Starting @ 6PM
- Free Unlimited Power Visions Ultimalte Pack
- Unlimited M2M
- Unlimited Text
- (All the other standard free stuff, roaming, etc..)
- FIMF
- BB Plan @ 29.99 (will be upgrading to the international, I need it)
Now working on a 20-25% loyalty discount. My 27% Corprate is stilled applied from my old plan. I was told countless times, that my account could not be switched over to SERO if it is a business account, Activations did not seem to have a problem with the switch. Now all I have to do is have the credit union discount applied and I am set. Only thing that sucks is the BES I am on. If I get everything I want, at the end, I should be paying around $30

Just curious, but how much is your monthly charge (incl tax)? Also, what does the 5% CS discount show up as on your bill? Oh, and if you absolutely want more perks, you could ask for additional bonus mins (upto 200 mins using the "Z RET 200MIN 12MTH" code). You could also ask for Sprint 2 Home for free. Finally, I guess you could even try for the 10% Credit Union discount. Other than that, I don't really know of any other big perks you could actually get. Of course, be careful, but Good Luck and keep us posted...

Well, there is really no set way. You kind of have to get creative. I.E., blah blah, I feel I will be running out of minutes close to the end of the month, and I don't think 500 mins will be enough, is there any way I could get some extra mins? Or you could try the direct approach, I.E., could you please add code "Z RET 200MIN 12MTH" to my account. For Sprint 2 Home, same type deal, you could say, I am worried about my mins, but I seem to call my house at x very often, is there anyway I could get calls to that number be free, kind of like T-Mobile does, etc... blah blah. Once again, be nice, assertive, and creative and you might get a rep to give it to you. Good Luck and let me know how it goes...

Most of the discounts and "free" perks are added as special incentives to loyal customers, or as a "retainer". Yes, some people have managed the add on without commitment but that's between Sprint and them.
When Sprint says a discount or offer isn't available, tecnically it isn't. Most of the time they are saying it isn't available TO YOU.
At any rate, I wouldn't attempt lying to achive a perk. ESPECIALLY if you have a SERO plan. It makes you sound like a greedy cheap jerk.
All my perks I asked for. I didn't lie about it, I asked if I qualified and Sprint gave them to me.
For Sprint to home... that's an easy perk and most ecare reps will give it to you.
For 6 pm nights, that's a tough one. Rarely given free anymore.
Free texting is easy for SERO. Non sero, most you may be able to get is discounted for unlimited, 500 for free.
Free powervision. Unlikely. For those that have it, it's a charge/ credit.

Before anyone posts and asks how to get X amount of perks/freebies added to your plan/account for free, please, let us know how long you've been a Sprint customer.
This will let us gauge the likelihood of getting said perk/freebie added to you plan/account. It will also better able us to assist/coach you in what to say/do to increase the chances of getting perks/freebies.

Better idea... have it in your profile on the side.... put the start date and have the forum use the current time/date to show how many yrs/months or at least 1.3 years etc but at the very least just ask for the start month or year and figure it out in your head as you look.

The website says "All SERO voice plans include unlimited data and text messaging through 12/31/07".
Does that mean that the unlimited data and text are only free until then and after that you have to pay? Or does that mean that as long as you sign up by 12/31/07 you will have unlimited data and text for the life of your contract?

Been a Sprint user for about 5 years, though called to discuss termination (I had called VZW earlier) due to issues. I was serious about term., but of course I got the "what can we get you to stay" person. By the time it was all said & done, I received the following:
$49.99 Sprint Free Incoming Plan/500 min/Unl incoming/N&W @ 6:pm/15% discount/Ulimited Vision Pack $5.
Discount: 15% Ohio State Gov't Employee discount is pending.
Now I realize I have a good deal as-is; however, paying approx. $55/mo is still nearly twice what the SERO deal would be ($30/mo).
I've seen the posts, and from what I gather, I can call or sign on online (email requests), utilize the worker email (Tristan, unless you have a better one), and ask very nicely over and over again till it works.
Does it still work? Can I keep any perks? Is it still a call & keep calling till someone helps? And if calling is the best route (my assumption since I am under contract), do I immediately ask for retention, or will that SERO 800 number work? I am just looking for an all-in-one answer to help. THANKS!

I have been a sprint customer since 2001. In Sept 05 I got a 7pm n/w recurring $5 credit for 2 years. Last Oct. I purchased a new phone and signed a 2 year contract on a SERO 500 plan. This month I was told that my 7pm n/w expired and it can not be added to my plan because I am on a SERO 9pm n/w plan. I was told this by ecare and by phone. I don't push too much for discounts (although I get 15% for employee discount and unltd. text). Is there any way I can get the 7pm n/w back on my plan? I know that new SERO customers have this included in their plans, so it really shouldn't even be considered a "perk" for me at this point. Please help!

I am glad it worked out for you, but I am a little confused. SERO comes with Unlimited 7 pm N&W already as part of the base plan (unless you got SERO like over a year ago when it was 9 pm N&W). So, I am not sure how you didn't have it, how the rep said you couldn't have it, and then how you called in and got something added back that is already there to begin with. My guess is that you got SERO 500 (which included 7 pm N&W), so they removed your $5 thing. Then when you asked the first rep, he/she must not have realized it, and just said what he/she was trained to do, which is to deny "perks" on SERO, even though it is not a perk. Finally, when bus. div took a look at it, they must have seen you already had it, and just told you they added it back so you would be happy. Again, just a guess, but it makes some sense. Let me know if I am way off base here. Thanks.

I got SERO approximately last October. At that time SERO was still 9pm n/w, but I had the 7pm $5 credit from before. Sprint started including 7pm n/w in their plans, but I didn't get it automatically. I was still getting a $5 credit every month...until the "perk" expired. That's when I called in and emailed to find out about the 7pm option and I was told that I had a 9pm SERO plan and they couldn't do anything for me. As a matter of fact, here's the email I got from ecare:
Dear _________________________,
Thank you for the reply.
I have carefully reviewed the account and noticed that current plan is SERO plan with the 9PM night and weekend option. Due to only this reason the credit of $5.00 against the 7PM night and weekend option has not been applied to the account.

I called in last week to ask about the upgrade date on my father-in-law's phone since the date online had changed to December from November 2007. His phone was misbehaving. The CS looked at the account and accelerated the $150 upgrade plus whatever rebates were out on the website and waived shipping and activation. I received a new M300 for him for "free" - and a 5 month overall contract extension. This is a SERO 500 line that uses no vision, no text and less than 100 minutes a month.
While on the line, I asked if I qualified for Sprint to Home since I have the free 50 minutes of Sprint long distance on my land line. She added it to my SERO 1250 line for free. (I am still on P2K so I am trying to get ready for the Pick Three option when they convert me.) I had emailed eCare when the Pick Three discussion on the forum started but never heard back from them. I am still within the 30 day trial period and I want these perks (Free 6p m nights and or FIMF) added to my account. Is it possible? I have dealt with maybe 10+ Reps who have told me that it is impossible to add to the account because its already a SERO Plan. Does anyone have any tips for me on either of these?
Please let me know. I did e-mail ecare.
Thanks!
the good old days are over my friend....they really started buckling down on perks...
BTW...now that you have called and all 10+ reps have notated your account...I would say that you're pretty much out of luck...every subsequent rep will be able to read those notes and know what you're already calling in about

be careful with the reps cause i once had a rep remove my employee discount saying sero plans cant have discounts. once you are set up good leave it alone. thats how i see it.:)

eCare denied FIFM, Sprint to Home, loyalty, acceleration of equipment dates, etc. I do not believe I have gotten anything from eCare - always from CSR. A CSR added the FIFM on my account because I have a phone number that is 1 digit off of a local business number. I was on the phone about something else and mentioned the problem after eCare denied my request. The amount of incoming wrong phone calls were sending me into overages on a regular basis. I explained to eCare this has been happening since 1997 but it didn't matter when we had FIFM. It was after they got rid of FIFM in their plans that I started to encounter my problem.
You received a 15% loyalty discount which is really good :) since you have SERO. When I asked if 9 years was loyal enough for a discount, eCare told me not under SERO. I would love to be able to share my SERO AT minutes with my father-in-law instead of having a separate SERO plan since he doesn't text or use data.

I have always been sucessful with ecare with all my 5 lines of sprint.
One thing I have learned from my experience, keep on trying and you will get the free stuff, i have tried at most 4 times to get most of my free stuff and some time it works on first try.. it all about luck..
4 of my lines have the following offered from ecare
1. Free 6pm nights ( all lines)
2. 15% loyalty discount ( all lines)
3. $162 phone upgrade credit (all lines)
4. $50 credit for rebate as it was decline ( on 1st line)
5. $50 statement credit ( on 2nd line)
Line 5
7pm nights free
$225 upgrade credit for HTC touch ( final cost $174)
15 % loyalty credit

I have been lurking on this site for over a year. Thanks so much for all the great advice from everyone here!
I really have a love hate relationship with sprint. Love the phone & plan...hate spending 2 hours on the phone talking to 8 reps who have no clue to get an answer to ANY question.
I was able to order 2 SERO centros online on my second attempt(15 hours spent on the phone trying to verify that I existed on the first try just to have it cancelled and told to retry online again...2nd time no problem with my order & the phones were at my house the 2nd day). THen After having the phones for 2 weks called in to retentions, I explained to the rep that I have been getting several calls a day that were asking for the previous owner of the number they gave me(the 3rd one in 2 weeks...but that is a whole other story). I mentioned that when I previously had sprint, they they gave me FIMF, he said no problem to add that to this act if my plan would accept the code. THen bingo it did & I am very happy!
Then called the next night after reading on here about pick 3 and asked if that was something that could be added to my account. After another 2 hours on the phone with 5 reps, they transfered me to retentions and the rep said that it is usually only offered to people that are going to cancell, but that she would just go ahead and add it to my account free of charge.
So now I have both FIMF & pick 3 on top of a great SERO plan. Plus they are adding a 10% discount since I belong to a credit union. It did take me over 20 hours total on the phone trying to order this plan from start to finnish, but now that I am there, I think it was definately worth the time to get such an awesome deal! Thanks for all the tips & advice that is offered on this site!! You guys are the best!!

I've been a customer going back a while and needed to add an additional line to my account, but can't because it is an old plan with maxed out lines... so I decided I will open another account w/ SERO, however on my other lines I have FIMF (very important)... Is there anyway I will be able to keep that w/ a new account... Would it be best to sign up online/ over the phone (anything to do w/ Ensemble?) in trying to get FIMF back
Also, the $5 sprint2home feature offered, If I signup for that, will they ask me for my home phone number - and does it have to be a Sprint Landline or can it be any number?
Thanks

I was able to add it for my parent's land line in a different area code. No questions were asked, but it does cost $5.

So if I get the SERO plan tomorrow, for example, I should probably wait a few weeks to try to add my preferred employer discount of 25% as well? I assume that all of these discounts are by a piece-meal basis then? i.e. Add them up to what you want once in a while till it's at the best then leave it alone.

after you get sero i would call to "check" if sprint kept all of your discounts on your account. if the rep says there are no discounts on account then play dumb and say your supposed to have a 25% discount for a business account. depending on the rep they may add it. after you get your discount applied, lay low and do not contact cs unless you absolutely have to.

I've tried multiple times with different employers (I've got 3 jobs) and I've retried, every time I've been told no discount can be applied because I already have a significantly discounted plan. I signed up new though, I wasn't an existing customer. I've also heard that part of switching over to ensamble was to help negate the possibility of invalid discounts being given...from what I understand you can't really put any kind of percent discount on a sero account, but thats just what I've read, but I haven't read everything so...hope that helps

I am in the same boat. I had a business acount now out of contract --- I was getting a 25% business discount and another 8% loyalty discount.
I threatened to cancel, and they agreed that even if I switched to a SERO account, they would give me my discounts + another 10% discount.
I called today to transfer my previous handset (which I am happy with) to my new SERO account and to have the discounts applied. The rep said no additional discounts possible .... apologized for the previous misinformation. This "misinformation" was documented .... I feel they should do something. I have e-mailed e-care. I'll let everyone know if it makes a difference.
Any other suggestions ... I am definitely steamed that they have written documentation of their promise and still won't honor it.

Sorry dude it looks like you're on the ensamble system (I could be wrong though) Ensamble makes it, from what I've been told, heard, and read, EXTREMELY difficult if not impossible to put discounts on SERO; you can still get credits (my gf has sprint to home for free) but part of the whole switch over was the embedded in the ensamble system itself was the ability for invalid discounts to be known i.e. discounts on SERO. The ensamble system is supposed to help the CS reps in terms of not putting them on there. That being said I am mad too because prior to signing up for SERO I was told that I would be eligible for employee discounts, which obviously turned out to be untrue, people at e care comp unhelpful. I believe they essentially said i still had x amount of days to go to another carrier before I was locked into a 2 year contract. But don't feel too bad try to get some other perks, ie pick 5, sprint to home, earlier nights, maybe some bonus minutes, or fimf or something, You're lucky though your account was notated, I didn't even have an account for them to notate :-( In any case goodluck and keep us informed.

So I too have the perk of Sprint to Home added. I told them that I was a college student and was told that I could qualify for Sprint to Home since I live in WA and go to school in CT. They added it no prob. I am in the process of trying to get FIMF, but its more of a delicate situation as i have NO service at my apartment and if I get a call it is usually dropped in the first minute so I am trying to pull that. I have no idea how to try to get 6pm for free, there doesn't really seem to be a universal for that, I have no need for extra minutes really so I don't need to try for the bonus minutes, although that could hurt my chances for the FIMF if they're like it clearly doesn't matter you don't go over your minutes anyways. They told me I could call *2 and say dropped and they'd credit me. To that I replied essentially saying I'd be calling like 10 times a day and that eventually they'd be paying me to have service ( i know there is a limit on the dropped calls but I'm just saying) and I said I heard about FIMF and that it could be an alternative cause if a call is dropped it usually happens in the first minute, if I can keep it longer than that its usually good. But in anycase I have Sprint to Home which apparently migrated over to ensamble on my gf's account so there goes my ability to try for pick 3 or 5 :-( unless I can swing something like they told me that I could have this until I got that kinda deal. But yeah regular SERO 500 with the Sprint to Home only, going for FIMF. Tried to get discount and shot down. On a side note, does anyone know if ecare marks accounts up at all without telling the customer?

So a follow up to the previous email. After talking with Sprint about no coverage in my area and them sending me to an email convo with Sprint Technicians, I dropped the fact that the FIMF would probably fix the problem of me having to call in all the time for a dropped call and that it was frustrating call *2 many times a day, and they added it for me and I will be checking after 4 hours to re confirm it. I read somewhere in this thread that someone got FIMF for having telesales call them alot? That happens to my gf I think I am going to try to get her FIMF cause she probably gets called like 5 times a week, I have no idea how they got her number...truth be told though she enters her mobile number into sites all the time to try to win things (man it is FRUSTRATING haha) but I'll keep everyone updated with that attempt

EDIT**Just checked the current usage stats and it has been added...hopefully this will help with the fricken drop call minute usage!!, But all in all great customer service on behalf of Sprint cheers!**

PS I've had my SERO account since August 2007 added StoH about...a month ago
Been with Sprint 4EVER, more years than I can count, without realizing I could've gotten loyalties, discount this/discount that, discount here, discount there... Heck, I'm just happy to get my SEROs I've learned through this site and have been helping people out in these forums to get the same luck that I got. If it weren't for a huuuuuuge ado I went through with SPRINT, I wouldn't have gotten the loyalty and the 6PM they offered to appease me.
I am TRULY in awe of most posters that I see here, brand new and/or transplanted customers who are so pre-occupied trying to get perks and freebies. One kept bending my ears for an hour ranting and raving on the phone for not getting what he thought he was entitled to. I currently have 4 lines with SPRINT, the main and oldest line, the only one with Loyalty and 6PM NW. I was just happy to get a brand-spanking new phone out of a 2yr extension, Retentions offered so I wouldn't have to wait till February 08 to get what I really want for Christmas. Never asked for anything else even if I knew that would've been the best time to re-negotiate.
2 weeks ago, when I reminded those who got a Grat Letter to call theirs in before it expired, I was inundated with PMs from those clamoring for one. Because they caught me off-guard at work, I obliged, since there was a deadline and time was of the essence since Loyalty Dept has separate hours of operation. Now I wouldn't dream of just sending any info to just about anybody. I must know their circumstances to determine what help I could assist them with. Those who rushed to call in were naturally shut down since
a.) they had no idea what they were calling about, the only thing they knew was it was worth $115.00, you couldn't bluff this Loyalty Dept, they check into everything, if you don't sound kosher, they'd ask you to fax it through to them, some said it was a flyer, a letter or a postcard.
b.) that it was sent out by the Loyalty Dept to long-time customers as a marketing campaign to get you to re-up your line another 2 yrs if you'd been going month to month without the liability (I don't call it benefit, of whom? Of Sprint?) of an agreement. And lastly...
c.) That if they sent you one, it would've been generated from a record in their computer.
What's the point in all this? As much as I help people save money in easing into a SERO or dealing with Retentions for a better deal, I am thankful and appreciative the fact I have the cheapest plan on the planet. That's why I resented someone just joining SU implying that we're here to "screw the other guy" or words for that matter. I still have to pay for all four lines and I don't mind since my lines are all SEROs, what more can I ask?
It's people pre-occupied with freebies here, perks there that give us that illusion that we are here to "screw the other guy". I am not at all too proud and too crazy about that. Matter of fact, I am embarassed that that's the illusion we give people of our team here @SU. More surprising were those who jumped the bandwagon in defense of the newbie but I realize it was more of an attack on my person since these were the same post patrols who were just waiting for an opportunity to pounce on me for anything whatsoever they could pounce on me on, since it seems that's how they get their jollies off. Fortunately, I have the sense to just ignore and not give in any second of my day as my time is precious to waste on such insignificant entities.

And now for the update:
My line on p2k got FIMF literally like 2 days ago from issues with calls being dropped in the first minute or so of an incoming call...this happens repeatedly.
My gf's line is on ensamble. I tried to get her FIMF because she gets telemarketers calling her as well as unknown calls that either hang up on her or she hangs up on. Unfortunately they said it has been discontinued. Now one of 3 things is going on here
1. If you're on enamble you can no longer get FIMF (I don't know about this though because I thought that I saw a few people say they've got it with Ensamble
2. It is actually discontinued
3. She lied (or legitimately could not find it to add it, which is what I'm hoping because she seemed really nice and sincere in the email.)
But in any case they gave her 100 free bonus minutes, which I emailed back to find out if they were for the life of the account or just this month but they're already showing up as 'Bonus Minutes 100' on her account page, I almost want to just try for the 200 bonus minutes, but I feel like I'd be pushing my luck. I know that the 200 would be significantly more beneficial, but I have no way of conveying that without sounding greedy. I suppose until they are truly needed though the 100 is a fine substitute for telemarketers. Has anyone else gotten bonus minutes instead of FIMF lately?
I'll edit the post with the result of the length of time the bonus minutes are on the account for.

Lady ain't lying, told posters time and again FIMF discontinued...(could never comprehend the value to that...) Always got the 100 or 200 Bonus minutes, if you don't use that much and/or all of your minutes, doesn't mean a thing because it's good for that particular month's usage ONLY... Then life goes on as usual... Given that next time, I'd bargain for something else that would stay a little longer on your account that you could really take advantage of, makes sense...? ;) LRB

LRB,
The only reason I bargained for that was because I just got it on my account. Is it because she's on ensamble and I'm not? I can forward you the ecare email that I got showing the FIMF from literally like 2 days ago or I can screen shot my account. It definitely exists, the question is it is a p2k thing or an ensamble thing? On a side note...damnit! I though it was going to be a life of contract thing. :-(

You need to sign up for SERO on the website. Some people are lucky and get retentions to give them something similar to SERO or even SERO but it's not the preferred method.
Read through the thread on how to get SERO. Everyone wants a short cut and doesn't want to do the homework.

Call *2 on your phone and then tell the automated system you want to cancel. You will get transferred to retentions.

Hello, FIMF does exist on the new billing system. I ordered SERO in October & my phones were set up on the new billing system. I kept receiving calls for the person who used to have my number before they assigned it to me. I explained that to the super nice retentions dude & asked for FIMF so those calls wouldn't burn up my mins. he added it to both account lines as my wife was having the same problems also. Hey 5 wrong numbers a day adds up, and now I am a very happy camper.
I also called back in and asjed for pic 3 since I read it was going to be added to all accounts over $40 in the future and the nice retentions lady added it for free also to both lines.
As long as you don't have to deal with customer service, Sprint is the best company in the world...Have any type of problem which requires a trip to the sprint store or a call to *2, then Sprint is one of the worst companies to deal with.

Does anyone know if ecare notates accounts when asking (and getting turned down from) about getting perks? I got turned down for my gf getting FIMF and don't want to continue trying if her account has been notated. Someone let me know please. And LRB i know that you say FIMF no longer can be offered, but I just got it a couple days ago (p2k) and the other post said its still available on ensamble so.
Please and thanks

I have posted this in the emailed ecare thread about free perks but I will post this here now so people can see what they can finagle out of Sprint.
P2K accounts:
On my first line I have the 49.99 SERO plan w/ the following
200 Bonus Minutes
Sprint to home (Im still on p2k, and I am promised you pick 5 by ecare and retentions once my account is taken over to Ensemble) free
6pm nights free
FIMF free
25% off for my employee discount which ecare promised would not be removed once I am switched over to ensemble, or else they will put it back on.
2 more 29.99 lines with 6pm nights free, 200 bonus minutes each, and also are included in my employee discount
Then my brother opened an account this month in Ensemble
49.99 Sero Plan
They couldn't add my employee discount so they gave him a 25% loyalty discount.
6pm nights free
200 bonus minutes
You Pick 5 - free
FIMF - free

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and to all those who don't celebrate it, happy holidays! Just wanted to drop a note...awhile ago I was trying to get FIMF for my gf's plan on ensamble as she was getting about 4 calls a day from telemarketers and they said it doesn't exists on ensamble. (recent research leads me to believe it does, thanks for the post!) that being said they gave her 100 bonus minutes that month. I was then told that the bonus minutes will be for that month only by the ecare rep however she has them again this month. So I am glad, and at the same time trying to figure out when these might end so I can plan her...plan accordingly. I am hoping the rep missed the expiration date of the bonus minutes? If anyone can let me know that would be great!
Thanks all,
PH
P.S. I still haven't been migrated to ensamble!!

To find out if the bonus minutes are going to stay each month all you need to do is login to the accoutn online and then click on the section that shows you what addons you have on your plan. See if it lists like this " 100 Cellular Bonus Minutes Included" then they will usually be on your account for 2yrs or for good. I am not 100% But if they show up as 100 one time minutes then they should have only stayed 1 month. Also you can check this from the wap browser if you do not see it listed online.

Here is a new promo code: WEBC25 I'm not sure how much it's worth, but I found it online.
I think you have to ask for it through ecare.

So I want to upgrade my mother's phone, on the $30 SERO plan, it says she is eligible. I believe I can do that online. Since it would be renewing her contract for another year, are there any perks/codes available that I could email ecare for at the same time? Or should I just email ecare for the whole thing, including the phone at the same time? I'm looking at getting her the m300 which is free after rebate. I would like to get her the free unlimited text messages as she has the free 500 now, but since it is almost the 31st, I want to do it now. How should I go about asking for free 6pm nites or pick 3? right now she is under the p2k system of billing and has a corporate discount that she does not wish to lose. So the 2 free perks she has now are 500 free texts(now unlimited free) and the corp discount. Any suggestions would be appreciated, oh also since she would be moving from a vision phone to a PV phone is there any
