View Full Version : Telenav not using EVDO?

I hope this is the right forum...

My phone: A900M
Program: Telenav 5.1.30

So basically, I called up Sprint and added Telenav Unlimited to my account. When I didn't receive the program link I checked out Telenav's website and saw that the A900M wasn't supported (or so they say).

Long story short, I got Telenav 5.1.30 on my phone, working fine, GPS tracks and follows, audio clear, traffic updates and all, signed in with my account name. I'm keeping it legit.

The problem is that whenever you access a route, it takes FOREVER to get it. I had Garmin previous to this and you can tell it's using EVDO, because it takes seconds to download information and routes. The Telenav takes at least 1-3 minutes (becomes a pain when your on the road with no idea where to go next). To add insult, after it loads the route, it checks for traffic, another few minutes.

Anyway, I am certain that it must not be using EVDO, or is somehow hindered. Does anyone know how to check to see if it is working, or somehow force enable EVDO so I can use Telenav properly? Other than that, it is an amazing program.

Look forward to any help, thanks!
