i signed up a long while back when Sprint ReadyLink was just coming out, been a way for a while(got a metropcs phone cause i couldnt afford the large Sprint Bill) and now im back with Nextel....
my question is......
i have a Nextel i710 (black moto flip phone) and the question at hand is... i have a 30 sec .mp3 i wanted to use on my nextel phone as the ringer, and wanted to know what the format for the ringers were on this phone, and how would i get the ringer from my computer to the phone?
anyhelp is appreciated

You can use mobile17.com to upload to Nextel phones. You have to start an account but its free and it works pretty well, even though its slow sometimes.

format is wav i believe....not mp3
i used to use adobe audition to make my ringtones for my i730 (same phone only with external caller id)
if you have nextel then i would visit some iden sites such as.....
those should get you started, they all contain information on how to hack your phone as well as downloads for ringtones, games, applications, and wallpapers.
