Text Message Fraud??

I have had my Sprint phone and service for over five years now. I recently added a new line to my plan, so I've now got two phones. Ever since I added the second phone, I've been having problems with the text messages.

I received my Sprint bill and noticed that I was charged for about 650 text messages on my primary phone and 460 on the new phone. I occasionally would get text message spam and do use the text messaging, but NOTHING even close to this amount.

I called Sprint and was told that they would do an investigation into these messages. While on the phone with the rep I went into my account online and noticed that the new phone had been charged for 250 text messages TODAY alone! I told the rep of this and she said that it would be looked into and that I should hear back something within 72 hours.

I haven't received any of the "premium" text messages on either phone. I'm just wondering if anyone had heard of this. Is there a way to clone a phone so that you can send and recive text messages? All of the calls on both phones seem to be legitimate.

Just FYI, the primary phone is a Treo 650 and the new phone is a Sanyo SCP-3100.

Its possibly just a mix up. Its sprint.. I have to call and get something fixed probably every other bill. For a while they had some random persons phone added onto my account and tried to make me pay for it...
