I am new to Sprint and I came on board because of the SERO offer... anyhow... Unpon signing up my SERO plan stated that I have Sprint Picture mail.... However I have no clue what this feature is and how to use it.... does it come pre-activated with the SERO plan or I am gonna have to call and activate it? I have a PPC=6700

you activate it your self when you send your first picture mail

I have found the easiest way to verify it is to log into your Sprint account (www.sprint.com) and then email sprint (check the support area - there is a link to email them).

Ask them to verify that you've been properly configured, and while you're at it mention that you're very surprised that picture mail isn't the same as text and since you had unlimited with your t-mobile plan, you would really like to have the same thing on Sprint even though you don't text much. yada yada. Worth a try.

Haven't heard of free TEP, but 6pm NW, 500 Text are pretty frequently scored. Most especially within your free 30 day trial.

Ok, Sprint PCS Picture Mail is not included on the PPC-6700, there is a MMS hack you can get that adds Picture Mail capabilities, but the only other way to send out a picture without the hack is to setup a POP or IMAP email account in messaging, such as the Sprint account, and send an email with the picture as an attatchment. If you want info on the hack go to pdaphonehome.com or ppcgeeks.com

Mywife and have 2 phones on the same acct.

I just started using picture mail and I got the
$5.00/month message that came up
before it would let me send it.

Does my wife have to pay the $5.00 on her
phone to receive them??

I know she has already received a couple and she
didn't mention anything about any pop-ups to
pay for the Picture Mail

Unless you have a Sprint PCS Vision / Power Vision Pack which includes Picture Mail & Video Mail, viewing them from the phone will require that you add a $5.00 Picture Mail Plan excluding any casual usage data charges ($0.03 / KB) if you do not have a Sprint PCS Vision / Power Vision Plan.

If you don't have a Sprint Vision / Power Vision Pack to view or send pictures, you may want to get one soon...Otherwise your next bill will be a ugly suprise for data charges.
