Okay, I've only had my Sanyo 3100 (pink) for almost 5 full days now, but coming from the Sanyo 4900 I'm Lovin it!!!

The screen looks so bright! The key pad is so much softer than the 4900, so it doesn't feel like I'm pounding the phone. I had to learn how to hold a flip phone (this is my first one) while texting, but texting is a lot easier now. Also, my web browser is moving waaaaaaaaay much faster than the 4900. I used to use half a battery to surf the net with the 4900. Also, the 3100 doesn't heat up as bad as the 4900 when using the phone for applications.

This is my first camera phone and I'm loving it! I read alot reviews where people said the pictures look orange. If you put the Whiteness controls on the proper one, then the pics come out fine. And, if you choose medium or low quality (I couldn't tell the difference). You can store more than 50 photos (on medium quality) and the zoom works (some reviewers couldn't find the zoom). Also, I can send pic mail to my boyfriend on his tracfone and vice versa! And you can take pics with the phone shut! And that little round mirror actually helps when taking pics of yourself.

At first I didn't want the phone because of the monochrome outer display....but I love that too. The orange backlight makes it easy to see the screen in the dark. Also the phone displays everything you are doing if you close it in the middle of something (like sending a text or pic). And if you close the phone before exiting something, the outer screen will say "Operating".

The 3100 caller Id is great and will even list the state that the person is calling from! That helps when you get those mysterious callers and don't fell like googling the area code.

The things I don't love about the phone:

-Choice of ringers was very whack! Although I love the Asian ringtone
-I miss the web button from the 4900
-I don't like the volume menu. With the 4900, the volume menu was spelled out. This one has levels. And you go through each level, it will vibrate or beep
-The memo/readylink button is in an akward place. Whenever I open the phone, I hit that button.

I think this is a great phone for those who just want to take pics and text.

Okay, its been almost 3 weeks now.....

I'm still loving my phone :o)

Especially:
1.The camera-I've taken 60 pictures so far and it only takes a hot second to upload to sprint. If you take the time to do set the image control and White balance, your pics come out lightweight decent.

2. The mobile web. I wish I could check myspace but... I can check yahoo, facebook, and SU!!!!!
3. The color (pink) of course.
4.The screen still looks great to me.
5. Haven't dropped any calls yet, speaker is great.
6. I really love the smaller LCD screen on the outside. Its like a scrolling Marquee.

Except:
1. Stupid ringers---I'm having a hard time finding ringers for my phone.
2. The time it takes to text message some. You have to go through so many steps.

This one is a keeper for me. I know I'm stuck for at least a year. But I'm happy. Now I can try to save up for a multimedia phone.
