EVDO Launches

I can't remember if I read that Sprint has stopped launching EVDO and is focusing on launching Rev A or if Sprint is continuing to launch normal EVDO in areas without it. The reason I ask, is I live in an old US Unwired service area (now Sprint) just west of the Louisiana border in Texas. I looked at current EVDO maps and it does not say we are in the future for EVDO which is really disappointing. However, I believe I read that Sprint wants to have 100% of their network EVDO by the end of '07.

Does anyone have any knowledge of official or un-official plans for EVDO? I see lots of areas with current EVDO coverage with less population than the area I live in. I have a feeling even though our affiliate was acquired by Sprint, we are still being treated as an unwanted step child.
