Ive had a treo 700p since july, im actually on my second, and have had a lot of problems.

the phone freezes at least once a day, and needs to be reset, text messages sometimes dont work, lots of dropped calls, and sometimes i dont get phone calls for a few hours, the person calling says the phone rings then goes to voicemail but i dont get anything....im looking to switch to either the 700wx or the blackberry, but will i have the same issues with the wx?

Stability is a key feature of the BlackBerry series. I'll tell you, though, you'll need the BlackBerry data plan to get full e-mail functionality from the device.

The WX will be just the same problematic situation you're having now. The PDA selection of Sprint's is puny. You can get:

Outdated (Palm OS)
Sluggish and overworked (WM5)
Minimalist and Extremely Stable (BlackBerry OS)

Essentially- pick one that suits your needs. If you need to be constantly contacted via e-mail as I do, then the BB is for you. If you'd rather play phone tag for a while with someone, pick up a Treo or a regular phone.

I'm telling you- I've been down the precise same road as you (it seems), the BB is the best PDA I've ever used. Hands down.

700p -- easy UI, sharp screen 320x320 -- Power Vision free with Sero. Chattermail free push email through IMAP

700wx -- more multimedia features, hackability and instability of windows, lower resolution screen. More complex operating system. Free push email through mail2web.com

BB 8703e -- fast, easy UI, all about messaging, no camera -- extra 39.99 a month to use the internet. You need the mail2web exchange account with BES server extra 9.99 a month. Total extra per month = 50/bucks to make use of the push email since Sprint doesn't offer BIS.

Huh? Sprint does offer BIS service - all carriers do.
