How do I find out where text messages are coming from. We're getting messages that appear to have been sent from various services and the origination numbers show as:
6726
8353
6872
7426
Any idea how I can identify the origin of these messages?
I'd have to look at my daughter's phone (it's hers) but I think it's something like NFL scores and other stuff like that. It's a new number and I'm guessing the person who had this number before subscribed to them.
Those are vision alerts most likely, go on the vision homepage from her phone and go under messaging and text alerts, you should be able to disable those messages from there.

I tried that ... with a Sprint rep on the phone... and it didn't work!

If this is a new number and you are having problems with, you may just want to change her phone number. You could try calling tech support and getting them blocked, but sometimes that can be a long painful process.

if they are nfl scores try loging on to nfl mobile on the phone and see if there are alerts on. those short codes are where my nfl alerts come from.
