Since the Motorola Q is not available on the SERO website and probably will not be for a while is it possible to purchase a Motorola Q from the Sprint website and then switch to SERO? Has any one ever bought a phone that was not available on the SERO site from the Sprint website with a F&F or any other standard plan and then was able to immediately switch their new phone to SERO?

It seams that someone already on a SERO plan and only 4 months into his 2 year contract was able to call Sprint threaten to cancel his account and get the Q for $199.99

Nevermind. My local Sprint store won't get the Motorola Q until 6 weeks so I placed an order online. So I'll keep you updated when I receive it.

When you placed your order did you purchase your Q with a calling plan or did you buy just the phone? If you purchased a plan which one did you choose, and was there any reason why you opted for that particular plan?
I think I'll order the Q online today with a calling plan and try to switch it to SERO once it arrives.

I just bought the phone. I am on a SERO plan. Hopefully they will allow me to activate it (being on a SERO plan). I don't see why not.

I received the phone today and made the switch. No problems. Everything was done within 3 minutes.
