my girlfriends new line has been getting these lewd viagra cialis text messages. Everyday since we opened her account this past saturday. She received 6 of them today. Is there a way to stop them from being sent? i replied to one with 'remove' and im still getting them. The address says it comes from 9093 then some bogus yahoo@reply.yahoo.com
its getting so crazy! Help!

I was getting those at the most asinine hours of day and night for the longest time. I changed my Sprint PCS Picture Mail address and my Sprint PCS E-mail Address. About an hour after I did that, they stopped.

she might of gotten a phone number that someone else had and they were subscribed to that service. your best bet is to call and change your vision users name or your number. your number would fix it for sure.

Yep. I got one at around 3 a.m. a few weeks ago. That'll get your adrenaline going! I had already imagined every loved one hurt, or worse, before I woke up enough to see it was a spam message. Grrrrrrr!

I would get one at 4am, then 6am, then off and on all day, then start at 1am, 3am... it was CRAZY!
I didn't realize she had a NEW number, I just re-read OP.
Personally, I'd go to Sprint and try to get the number changed.
just remember NEVER sign up with anything that is on TV the tv lies! thos are never free and they are all monthly payments that charge you every month.

If you call into CS we can look up that code and give you all of the companies contact info. We also can provide the instructions to get them to stop. Usually you have to reply back with the word "Stop" or "Cancel"

Ha! When I was having this problem a few months ago I calld CS. I was told that I could change my phone number or deal with it. I was told that CS didn't have the technology to be able to help me.

Usually it goes onto Tech support. But a few reps know the system to look up the short codes. I happen to know it. Granted most dont seem to but our instructor was a tech support guy so we learned all kinds of extra stuff. Either way most often replying back with STOP or CANCEL should fix it.

Well the 9093 is a Yahoo #
I get a daily horoscope from them evryday and it comes from Yahoo at 9093 but the address is different y-alerts@ reply.yahoo.com
I have been using Yahoo alerts for years and have never received a "spam" message from them.

using the "whitelist" feature in http://messaging.sprintpcs.com works for me.
Ie, select "block all except" and then just list the #s and email/domains you want to get messages from.
You'd still need to call into *2 (or email ecare) and ask to block all premium SMS services (which is also not a bad idea if you don't use any...)

yea just e-mail ecare and tell them exactly what you told us. They should be able to put a stop to it. I kept getting crazy text messages everyday of my life for like a year before I emailed ecare and they were finally able to stop it lol

If you don't use text messaging at all you can call Sprint and they can block all incoming text messages.

One time I got this crazy premium service charge for $9.95 and I had to call Sprint to take it off. Amazing! Just one spam message (didn't ask for it either) and it cost $9.95 on the bill!
