Well heres the reasons I like the 830 over the 700 in order I think
1. Screen size and quality. the screen is 240x320 so you get more room. it also looks clearer and brighter.
2 the layout I love the slider keyboard Ive always loved sliders and this one is done so good and right.
3 the programs and functions of the system are amazing.
4 power. I can run more programs and it slows down LESS.
5 has a secure area where you can save important things and they wont get lost or over written even if you format the phone and reload it
6. Battery life is awesome as Ive read and i love having an extended battery and standard right out of the box.
7. its a sammy gotta love the sammys.
8 the extendable antenna.
9 the stylus. its metal and extendable.
now for the things I will miss (if I dont find a work around)
1 the mian screen dial. I loved being able to type a name or number right on the main screen and it pop up and dial.
2 the Palm threaded sms. (some people they have it working but I haven't tried it yet.)
6. my seidio belt clip. I love belt holsters and dont find one for the 830 yet.
I guess thats about all so far. but over all I LOVE IT. the wife is getting my wx as soon as I get fully converted over. all in all both are amazing phones and work wonders.
