Games and ringers - pay per month?!!!

Well, after having the 8400 for less than a week, I did go out and get a 1 gig SD card. Now I have plenty of memory for that kind of stuff.

HOWEVER, I must say, I was extreamly dissapointed (again) when I visited Sprintpcs.com and was looking at the games. Most now have a montly subscription fee. Few are one time payments. And many of the games don't even have a picture to show you what they are like. Thats a negative as far as I'm concerned.

I don't use games that much.. maybe once a month when im stuck in some long long line at a resturant or something like that. So I can't see paying 2-5 bucks every month for a game that I will use for less than an hour each month.

Ringtones, well, they have a bigger variety compaired to the 8100, but still nothing I was looking for. Oh well.

there are different websites discussed in the multi media section on this forum that will help you out alot with games and ringers.

Yeah.....I am very dissapointed with the whole PCS experience as well.

Seems like a major ripoff. I guess maybe if we search these forums and websites enough we can find some free stuff, huh?

I have the Sprint Employee Referral deal with unlimited data but it seems that everything worth doing is a "Pay per View/Play" event....sheeesh.
