The first one is that my phone wont update going to menu>tools>update phone, is it a glitch? The second one is I had the 60606 prl when I got the phone, then I had the phone number changed to my old one cuz they didn't have a local one for my area, (they did but my local toll provider says the number they gave me isn't local, its long distance) but anyway after I had the phone number changed, I looked at my phone info>version, and under the settings tab and I have the 10036 prl. What do you think happened that it reverted back to an old prl, and what disadvantages do i have using an older prl? Thanks BTW my local sprint store might/might not be able to fix this or should they be able to?

Call sprint and ask them so update your PRL (I'm fairly certain they can flash that OTA (over the air..)) If not just go to a sprint store and they should be able to update the PRL. I would call first to make sure they can do it before wasting your time driving there. And lastly there is a way to update your PRL through bitpim, another thread has those details.

I had to go into the sprint store to get my m1 reflashed from 10036 to 20024 because *2 changed when I called in. I was in/out of the store in 5 mins.
