I have scoured the forums for answers, but all I find is old info and contradictions. Maybe someone can help me figure this out. So, I bought a Blackberry 8703e. Love it. Problem is I have (had) a SERO plan. Sprint associates told me that I'd have to add the data plan, but when it came down to it, none of them could. Finally someone from the Blackberry team added it, but lo and behold she removed my SERO plan and put me on something comparable, but at $15 more a month.
Meanwhile, there is a Blackberry 8703e on the SERO website. Has anybody had any recent (within the past 3 months) luck getting Blackberry Data added onto their SERO plan? I am willing to pay the $39.99 a month, but I don't want to have to buy a more expensive plan to do so. Anyone whos got some tips or experiences, please help. I've been bounced around so many times I am about ready to give up and return this thing. Thanks.

i might have to give retention a try since they were the ones that originally hooked me up with SERO a year ago. i hope i dont have any trouble getting it back since i got switched to a F&C plan.

The SERO $20 BB Plan is for Nextel, but you could always try to get them to add it on for you at that price. Good Luck.

so just a recap...
i had sero, bought a bb, no one at sprint could add bb data. bb support told me they could but they ended up changing me to a regular plan.
and my update...
i emailed e-care and told them i wanted to switch my plan back to sero and that i would return the bb. they replied and asked that i call this phone number (which seems to be a normal customer care number): 1-888-211-4727.
i called and the girl was able to move my plan back to sero, which i have verified online. the kicker is, my bb data plan is still added (for $39.99). so sero and bb data do exist. if you have trouble, you may ask them to first remove sero from your plan (replace with another plan), add bb data, and then have them switch you back. though it wasnt intentional, this is what worked for me.
on a side note, i called the sero people and she verified that bb data is $39.99
so all in all i am pretty happy now. i hope this thread helps some other SERO BB users.

It used to be $20 for Nextel Sero BB, but that was a limited time offer and is now back to $39.99 I believe. I think they should but it back at $19.99. T-Mobile charges only $29.99.
