Greetings!
I'm having a problem using the mass storage from the microSD card. The PC keeps on telling me to "insert a disk in the J:" drive. J would be the next letter in place for me. Then the box disapears and a windows explorer box appears with three folders which are by the manual valid. I try to click on the one representing the pictures and nothing happens. If you let it sit there it will fold up the window with the folders in it and start over again asking to insert the disk in the drive.
What in the heck is going on?!?!?! Is there something I'm missing .. I did it by the book!
Thanks for the help! If there is a thread that deals with this please point it out to me. I did do a brief search and really didn't tap into anything!

It does sound like the microSD card isn't seated properly. Try reinserting the card (phone turned off prior to this) and make sure it does the "click" that jdfrye was talking about.

I had the exact same thing happen with my 8400.
i found it was my antivirus program. I disabled auto-protect and it stopped.

I found the problem! I don't think the card was properly formated. Even though there was information on it, pictures and a voice recording and my contacts did show on the phone. It drove windows NUTS! =)
What I did was copied my pictures back to the phone and made sure that there wasn't anything else that I would hate to loose on the card. I went and reformated the card and re-created the folders .. copied all the stuff back. Connect to the PC and voi'la!! It worked!
Thanks for your help that tipped me to the solution!

Quirky at the least. One thing I did see is that there are NO instruction in the manual about what to do when windows encounters this device. I just canceled through it and when failed I plugged it back in again and it picked up.
BUT ... as you know it won't work for everybody like that. And you know why? Becuase it's WINDOWS! *gasp*
