Sanyo 8400 Battery Cover

do the battery covers from the sanyo 2400 and 3100 fit the 8400? if so where can i get the cover as my 8400 cover broke.i have a black phone.

just tried the 3100 back on my 8400 ..dont work, small notch and maybe other small things that make it not work

where can i get a replacement battery cover.

i called sprint today. sprint doesnt sell a replacement battery cover.they only sell the cover for the extended battery. i spend alot of money for a cell phone and i cant get a replacement cover.this does not make any sense.this phone has been out for a few months and i should be able to get a replacement part.any suggestions?

ebay sometimes has dummy phones for sale. maybe one of them would have a cover on it that could be used

I don't know if it will get you anywhere, but you can try calling Sanyo at 818-998-7322. That's probably their corporate office, I got the number from the BBB's site. There's also a service center listed in NY, but no phone number.

thanks for the tip.i did call sanyo the other day.they dont sell it either.they suggested to go to a sprint repair center to see if they have any spare parts.i went to a store today and asked.they gave me a blue cover which looks fine on my black phone.the tech guy said it was $15.the guy at the register inquired about the sku # and then just gave it to me gratis which was very nice.
