Can anyone help me understand what brand of memory will work best in the Sanyo 8400? The user guide recommends SanDisk, but I found that to be more expensive than Corsair, PNY, and Kingston. Does the brand really matter?

Thanks.

I have a Kingston 1GB microSD card in my 8400, no problems with it.

As far as I know, it doesn't really matter. Don't go for some brand that no one's ever heard of before, but it doesn't have to be the most popular, most expensive brand either. SanDisk, Kingston, Corsair, A-Data, and PNY should all work fine.

I put a 1 gig sandisk card in my phone shortly after I bought it, and it's been working great.

What is the largest card you can put in?

I was going to order a 1gb but I want to put enough video and music to keep my occupied for business trips. (yes I have an Ipod but not the video)

I believe you can use 2GB cards. Search to confirm. I know there are posts about it.

Please, be my guest. I know the feeling, took me a while to find one, so I had to cobble this one from the Sanyo site. Glad ya like it.

Sandisk is more expensive than the others, but the quality is there in my experience.
