Hey everyone
I have been a sprint customer since April - I am not at all impressed with the customer service, but the phone signal and sound quality is good. My second Samsung A560 died today, so I went to get a new phone. In turn, I received a Sanyo SCP-200.
This is a short review to give you a small look at the phone.
-Age- N/A-10
As most of you know, the SCP-200 was discontinued a while back. Since it was a free replacement, I got a discontinued model. The phone was still brand new. It was an old leftover model, because it still has the old Sprint logo on it.
-Design/layout- 6/10
The Sanyo SCP-200 is not very impressive in terms of design. It is far from slim, but is sleek and stylish. The back key is oddly placed but the messaging shortcut key is convenient. It also has an extendable stub antenna. As far as screens go, it has no external LCD screen, and it has a tiny 1.6" LCD inside. It only has 65k colors, but it is a small enough display to make up for that. Screen is very bright, along with keypad.
-Performance/Features- 10/10
As this phone is a PCS Voice phone, it does not have games, downloads, and similar things. It is packed with the basic handyman features (speakerphone, calendar, alarm clock, contacts, speed dial) and they all perform well. Battery life is good and the sound quality is excellent.
-Overall- 8/10
I know this was a short review, but its just my opinion. I am impressed with the 200 phone.
