View Full Version : M1 with broken Camera, need advise.

Sorry to start a new thread on this, but time is of the essence here.
I purchased a new M1 from web sales the day it was available, used it for a couple of days, and than put it on the shelf. Today I go to use it and the camera/camcorder won't launch. It starts to load, showing the little camera icon, but then stops and goes back to the previous screen. I tried a master reset from the security menu, but that did not resolve my problem. Camera worked fine before. Anyone know what I can try before I take it to a Sprint store? I don't have insurance because I switch phones all of the time.

try taking the batter out for 15 mins or so. if that doesnt work its still under warranty

How long is the standard warranty? I thought it was only a week?

I thought manufacturer warranty was a year
The manufactures warranty is one year.

I called Sprint CS 3 times, and finally got the correct information. Warrenty with Sprint is 30 days, Manufacturers warrenty is 1 year. I'm sending it back to Sprint, and they are supposed to send my a new one, when they receive this one. :fingers:

I also purchased TEP. I never realized that TEP covers any phone that you may have activated on your account. So if I do an ESN swap, the new or used phone is covered, at least that is what I was told when I bought it.

otherwise it would be usesless.
