Having trouble pairing M1 with Hp ZD8000 laptop. They both see each other but a pin code pops up on M1????? ***? I never set a code on either devise. Bluetooth wizard on laptop no help.

0000 is the default pin code

I tried 0000 but the laptop has no prompt to enter a code. Maybe I need to reinstal the bluetooth software. I will keep u updated.

try to pair the phone to the laptop, that way, you will get a prompt to enter in the pin. you can make up any 4 digit code you want

i have a zd8000 laptop. to pair your phone do the following

turn on visibility in your phone
click the bt icon in the tray (by the clock)
click search for devices in range
the computer should find your phone, right click your phone then click pair device
the computer should ask you for a pin code, this can be any 4 digit pin code
then on your phone it will prompt you for a pin code, enter the same pin as you did on the pc
then the phone and pc should pair

i have a zd8000 laptop. to pair your phone do the following

then on your phone it will prompt you for a pin code, enter the same pin as you did on the pc
then the phone and pc should pair

What I need to buy (software) or whatever for my pc to be able to use the bluetooth & send inf. and save the phone book, ringers, etc....or @ least which one is the best, don't have one and I don't know much about this, thanks for the help you can give me

A bluetooth dongle they connect via usb on ur computer
