I am using SUPER to convert my videos and they all look "OK" They dont look really clear or anything, just OK. What settings are the best? I could not get it to work with MPG-4, the only codec that would work was H.263 (Whatever that is? Never heard of it.)
Is SUPER the best (free) program for converting vidoes for the M1? The highest resolution I could get it to was 176x144 with 15frames/second. And like I said the video was OK.

Depends on the quality of video you start with. Try 3g2 and uping the video and audio bitrates will help.
Yes, Super is the best free converter.
Start with the Sony Ericsson 3g2 default settings. Then...
Video resolution: 320x240, 15 fps
128 kbps bitrate (works best for me)
Audio to 2 channels if you want stereo (use default bit rate)
These setting works just fine for me and the video is nice and clear.

I am using the free 3GP Converter Deval suggested in his video converting faqs and I use these settings: General:3GPP+ACC General Setting and then I select QVGA High Quality 15fps Stereo and the video looks amazing on the M1. I think it looks near DVD quality.

You can also visit 3GP converter (http://www.mpeg-converter.net/mpeg-to-3gp/) for more information.
There's a few video formatting applications out there, but most of them cost money.
I hope it's helpful for you!
